“Very poor! Ordered parasol 3 weeks ago and it still hasn’t arrived. No response when I emailed them. No idea if or when it will arrive :(”

“The final look is just what we wanted however, I wasn’t informed of delivery and was lucky I was working from home the day it arrived. I am a flat pack queen but the instructions are not clear and nye impossible to follow to the letter. We had to make adjustments along each step which was frustrating. I would suggest a rewrite of instructions and better quality pictures to guide the builder.”

“I’m pretty surprised to be asked to write a review. My experience was terrible with garden street. Paid approx £150 for a parasol which was sent damaged, obviously second hand, had missing parts and instructions and was packaged badly. Getting this rectified was slow. Package has been returned but still waiting for money to be refunded. Considering contacting trading standards. Will never order from this company again!”

“Very poor 3 weeks and I’m still waiting for delivery. Now to further annoy me You have asked sent me a email to review your service. To be blunt I haven’t had any service. You have my money and I don’t have the goods. Wouldn’t use Garden Street again or recommend it to anyone.”

“Do not buy from this company. They advertise goods with a 14- 28 day delivery. Once you have completed your purchase you are informed that the product will take up to 6 weeks because days means working days and your order will not arrive at the originally advertised date. There is no facility to cancel orders using the website and if you telephone you get a recorded message telling you to email as they are currently not taking calls. I emailed asking to cancel and did not receive a reply for 7 days. After I opened a case with PayPal they replied and I was able to cancel by email. I have still not received a refund 25 days after my payment.”

“Very disappointing service. The product was unsuitably heavy given our ageing years(!!) However there was no suggestion when we purchased the item that they would not support us with a return. Having looked into the cost of returning it was £60 cheapest. My husband and I have no previous experience of shipping bulky items and wrongly presumed when we purchased it that the supplier would organise for a collection if unsuitable. This was not the case and we received the ‘we’re too busy to deal with this’! So unable to make the £60 return costs, we are now left with a beautiful garden shade too big and too heavy for us to use and move and too expensive to return. VERY upset!!”
