“Poor customer service - very slow response to emails. Ended up contacting Rowlinsons directly, who provided an order update by return and followed up with the courier who provided us with an accurate delivery date. Wouldn’t use Garden Street again.”

“Poor. No customer service. I ordered a fairly expensive shed which had missing parts. Due to the Corona crisis garden street don’t accept calls (makes no sense to me) and they aren’t relying to emails either. So basically you will be paying online, receiving a poor incomplete product and have no chance at getting a refund or speaking to customer service. I would recommend buying from a proper company like B&Q or Wickes.”

“Placed order. They took my money out immediately but it’s now three weeks later I have had absolutely no contact from them about delivery and no sign yet of my garden furniture. Not impressed.”

“Really disappointed with the product, plastic cut badly, causing stress on lining up framework, nothing seems to slot into place, everything is forced. Takes ages to assemble, and looks awful on completion, got to buy Clear Silicon to make best of a bad design. For the money 2 stars a generous.”

“When the item arrived it was heavily damaged. Emailed Garden Street who were very helpful abd sent replacement parts no questions asked. Now built and a very sturdy and good looking potting bench. Great service.”

“Ordered £2.5k worth of garden furniture in mid May, at the time of purchase I was advised half my order was out of stock and new stock would arrive mid July, however they would deliver what was ready to dispatch ASAP, a date was arranged but nothing arrived, unable to communicate with anyone via telephone, therefore had to wait for them to respond to my email, which took a week, only after I advised them I would cancel my order. They informed me they were awaiting info from their warehouse regarding my order, I advised them I would give them 48 hours to respond otherwise I was cancelling my order, I received a response within a couple of hours advising me the items in question were damaged therefore asked me if I wanted to cancel my order, which I did, surprisingly, I received a refund that day. However today the so called damaged goods arrived at my home, I obviously advised the poor delivery guy that I would not accept them and sent another email to this company advising them of their incompetence. Throughout this experience I took into account the extraordinary circumstances we are facing but this was farcical and the worst customer experience I have ever experienced I would prefer to give this company NO stars”

“I am still waiting for my refund of items you said you had in stock, then after three weeks I had to contact you to see where my items were, to then be told you never had them in stock, and would not be available until September. I asked for an immediate refund, which has still not been processed. It's a shame you don't have minus stars on your review page. You are the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to do business with. Hilariously you still send me an email asking ' how you did'... Appallingly.. in case you care!!!! I will be contacting the trading standards office, and the police to let them know of your fraudulent actions.”

“I was surprised to receive an email from Garden Street asking for a review when I have yet to receive an undamaged and complete product. The issue with the item is not in the workmanship but in the way it has been packaged and transported. The item ordered was a swing chair and so far I have had one delivery of a damaged seat and then approximately a week later the A frame for the seat was delivered. I have been unable to assemble the frame and seat due to some fixings being missing, including the chain that completes the swing seat. I have been assured that these issues will be rectified so perhaps I can provide a review of the product when I can actually assemble and use it. I understand that circumstances are difficult at this time, however the problems with this item are as a result of inadequate packaging and poor communication which can surely be addressed.”

“Rowlinson Gazebo was delivered 3 days after ordering it (I thought we were going to have to wait 4 - 6 weeks) . No issues at all, good price, good product, would not hesitate to use Garden Street again”
