Never received order due to not monitoring stock levels which is understandable, but the few weeks before being told about this error was not. Hopefully any future dealings will be better handled

3 stars for fast refund. You would have got 5 stars had you actually delivered my order, instead of accepting my order and then telling me that it wasn't in stock

I chose this product, a bike store, because it was a police approved product. However the overall quality is let down by poor design and detailing, poor fixings, inadequate instructions and complexity of construction. In addition the Garden Street web page is inaccurate: it does not use gas struts but fairly primitive spring loaded ones. The ground anchor cable is also not alarmed. These descriptions apply to a more expensive and more secure product. The Trimetals website is overrun by 5* and 4* reviews with little negative criticism and a suggestion that construction is simple and takes around 3 to 4 hours. Check the reviews on Amazon and other sites as well as here - Trimetals are surely guilty of filtering out critical reviews? I can recommend the product but suggest care is needed and allow 12 hours (and assistance) to construct it effectively. I am a civil and structural engineer, experienced DIY enthusiast and at one time ran a DIY store so I think my criticisms are valid. Make sure you fix the store down with the anchors provided and against a wall if possible to avoid a massive theft risk if the back is accessible. Similarly, as reviewed elsewhere you MUST use the hasp and staples or the product is easy to gain access to. The problems: no tools are provided and the required tools are not listed. As many of the fixings are standardised and not therefore ideal in some locations, specific tools are needed to do the job right - particularly since many fixings have to be tightened in extremely inaccessible places, often requiring two people. Why on earth was a 3mm open ended spanner and 3mm slim box spanner not provided with this expensive piece of kit? Make sure you have them! The store can be purchased as non-secure and so rather than adapt their product, unbelievably Trimetals provide the components (and a drill bit!) to drill and fix your own hasps and staples. This is unacceptable in a product at this price. It requires great care to ensure everything lines up (and is inserted the right way round) to avoid ruining the store. Which raises the next issue, mentioned frequently elsewhere: the instructions are of low resolution, lack sufficient narrative and lack blow-up details at crucial points as well as missing critical sequencing steps. It appears that Trimetals may have never erected their own store! My copy was dated 2015...what a shame they do not read the negative feedback. I was provided with a useless masonry bit (buy a quality one - you will need an additional 16mm masonry bit anyway for the anchors) and two drill bits (presumably because their quality was such that one was insufficient to drill 12 small holes). Which brings me to the next issue: not only was I given two sets of instructions, one of which states at The End that they should not be used for Protect a Cycle but I got two sets of anchor bolts (of different types) and the instructions for anchoring did not match any of them or match the holes pre-cut in the base. If you think I am being hyper-critical, I recently also erected a secure shed from Biohort of Austria; this was superbly designed, detailed and manufactured and was complemented by all the tools required, brilliant instructions and helpful additions such as touch-up paint. What a shame their cycle store does not appear to be as secure.

The product is good and delivered within a respectable timeframe. I’m on my second BBQ shelter from the same manufacturer so I am confident I won’t be disappointed with it, so I am leaving it packed and unopened ready for next summer. That being said I emailed a question on the 1st of the month enquiring about purchasing a second fabric canopy as a spare, as other manufactures offer but it is now the 23rd of the same month and all I have heard is crickets. A yes or no answer over the last three weeks isn’t too much to expect even in the current covid climate.

Happy with the service, and fast delivery, but a little disappointed that around 6 out of the 40 plastic garden tiles I ordered were damaged in some way.

No communication after initial confirmation of order. Shed arrived with no notification. Shed went together well, quite a few superficial scratches but not worth the hassle of returning

Unfortunately the goods I ordered were not available as advertised and were never delivered. Goods directly supplied from Manufacture, who failed to correct stock supplies. Had to arrange a refund

I purchased an item online so had minimal to no experience with customer services. Our Rowlinson clubhouse came with missing parts however so I had to manufacture some shutters for the windows out od the pallet wood that came with the order. Thanks,

Disappointed. Promised delivery W/C 24 August, didn't arrive until 6 September and then the box was damaged (looks like it has been opened/closed previously) plus the item itself was scratched.

Ordered a shed and was told of a 4 week lead time. Was given a date of the 28th August. Shed arrived on the 26th August out the blue, no pre-warning. Also ordered a rain cover for my garden furniture, this was also dispatched on the same day as my shed but did not arrive. Contacted garden street via email as no calls were being taken, and was told that it had been dispatched and Fedex was supposed to of delivered the item which it never. Emails were exchanged but no rain cover turned up. A week later I finally got through on the phone and was told that They would send out another rain cover as Fedex we’re saying they had tried to deliver the item, which was lie. Hopefully it will turn up in the next few days. It seems to me that garden street need to get their deliveries in order although when I contacted them via phone they were very apologetic about the delay and hopefully they have sorted it.

Item arrived within two working days, which was great. What is not so great is the lack of communication and order status updates. The item (a barbecue cover) arrived without any warning at all, but the order status still shows 'Processing Order - We are processing the details of your order.' I chased via email (rather than phone, as they requested) and via online form, but no response nor acknowledgement. Like many companies hiding behind Covid-19 (sorry, but they've all had six months to make adjustments), customer service is lacking at Garden Street and it does make me wary about ordering again. It's not rocket science to get right, really. The item itself is great and arrived fairly well-packaged.

Product arrived without notice, neither did we have any communication from the delivery driver, fortunately we were at home. On the positive side, which is why we gave 3 stars rather than 2, it arrived only 2 days into the 28 day window of delivery. We're delighted with the garden storage bench.
