“Because of the Covid 19 pandemic I requested confirmation that the Jaipur Arbor was still available and that it could be delivered to the Canterbury area, the answer was yes to both and delivery was 14 to 28 days. It arrived a little after 14 days and is now completed, so all promises kept by Market Street.”

“I ordered a parasol. Payment was taken and order confirmed. The following day Paypal refunded the payment and Garden Street sent a cursory email: "This is confirmation that order ****** has now been refunded." No explanation and no apology. Not impressed and wouldn't use again. Happy to accept that item had run out of stock even though they had confirmed the order but bad manners and poor service are not acceptable. They are now asking for this review on something they failed to deliver!”

“The item was said to be in stock but it wasn't. Still waiting for delivery so cannot comment on service. They did apologise by email when I contacted them, but they could have spoken to me to explain.....Goods said to arrive at end of June. We will wait and see.”

“Very pleased with my bistro set I purchased. Thought delivery could of been quicker. Easy to put together in fact my husband said it was easier to put together than it was of disposing of cupboard packaging. One comment that may help it might be good to stellotape blots pack to table top or a chair as we nearly threw them away in loose bubble wrap. Many Thanks Mrs S Avery.”

“I ordered an item on 20/05 knowing that Garden Street was awaiting stock. On 12/06 I received an e-mail saying 'We can confirm that stock has arrived, and your order dispatched. This should be with you in the next 3-7 working days.' It's now 16 days on, the delivery firm XDP has my item but I've heard nothing from it regarding the delivery date”

“The play house I paid £979.99 for arrived mouldy (green and furry white mould), water logged and dirty. I had to dismantle the windows just to clean the filth, then clean and sand every part. No care was taken in the design and construction, I had to modify several parts and buy longer screws for some parts. The structure would have been a lot stronger is they hadn’t cut everything over 1.5m long in half. To many structural design issues to me soon here. What really irritated me is that they enclosed an excuse sheet, attempting to justify poor quality. I understand that wood warps and leaks sap, just don’t store it outside where is can’t dry properly”

“Took the money. The goods never arrived. When I chased them up they said there was a picking problem & the item was now out of stock I wonder when t hey were thinking of telling me that! Still waiting for a refund. Very unhappy”

“Quite frankly, I didn’t expect to have any service from my request to replace one of the plastic inserts that had become dislodged and lost. However, I received a reply within a couple of days and will receive the spare part this week. Also really happy with the quality of the table and chairs that are now in their second season and still look as new. I definitely would recommend to anyone who is thinking of buying from this company.”

“Ordered 2 garden loungers; which were “in stock”, only to be informed after I’d paid for them that they were out of stock. Had a message 3 weeks ago to say that they’d be in touch in 1-2 weeks, heard nothing yet. Dreadful.”
