“They were very helpful by getting in contact with me asking if I needed any further assistance with my trip. They also responded very quickly to any questions that I had. It would have been good to know more about the tour before I had booked. As I only found out after I booked that the tour was run by g-adventures and was 18-39. I was happy with the tour but would have been good if the information was on the booking page.”

“I travelled to New Zealand on the Kiwi Discovery Pass. Helpful advisors, and a good company for a first time solo traveller. They are often acting on behalf of other companies which actually run the programme in the country you're travelling to, but they have all the information you need. Luckily I didn't need any overseas support once I was there so can't comment on that. Could have had better communication from flights department following booking regarding whether my flights were insured, but they did sort out an issue I had with the airline rearranging my flights (my connection was suddenly sue to take off four hours before I even got there!) really efficiently. Good price on flights! Overall, I was very happy and would recommend to first time travellers.”

“The team at Gap 360 were very helpful when it came to booking my trip for a 2 week elephant volunteering project in Thailand, answering every question I had and being a good support network. As I have a medical condition I was asked to get my doctor to complete a medical form, this part was fine, however, when I got to Thailand no one in the team asked about the condition or touch base on the subject. I feeling this is a important matter as I was unsure as to if they had been told and if you knew how to deal with it if anything was to happen concerning it. Another point I would like to bring up is the price of the experience. When comparing with other members within my group it was clear I had paid way too much for the same thing, some were even taking part in the project for a longer amount of time and was still cheaper. I'm not sure if there were extra charges for something I was not informed of or if there is a very high commission for gap 360 to book the experience. Either way I am very unlikely to book with gap 360 unless a very good deal is on offer purely because of value for money. In terms of positive elements to the experience, the programme was well laid out with a good mixture of activities to do when we were at the elephant village, such as feeding, bathing and walking the elephant, planting and harvesting the elephants food, cooking for a local school, going to local market, finding out about elephant poo paper and the elephant graveyard. However at the weekends which was our 'free time' a better selection/suggestions of things to do would be helpful for those who have never been there, like myself. Personally I would like to thank Worn, Ing and Wi from the project, that would not only help during the project but also in their free/personal time, arranging travel such as tuc tucs, additional accommodation where needed and being a good support network for those feeling homesick.”

“Booking through gap360 was simple, and always easy to get hold of staff for questions / queries. Having the portal made bookings clear and easy to access information, however myself and others who have booked through Gap360 were confused on how many companies we had booked through, for example it was not obvious that my Bali intro trip booked, was through a company called intro travel, which the website could make a lot clearer.”

“Gap360 have been amazing in terms of the help/support they gave me and the trip itself was incredible. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 was because I booked Cambodia on a Shoestring for 10 days and no one made me aware that I would be among a group of people who would be staying on the trip to go further for 21 days or 30 days in total. Leaving my group knowing they were all going on to do more was heartbreaking and something I wasn’t prepared for.”

“Literally had the most amazing time on the Thailand tour for 29days. The package offered something for everyone and our guide - JJ was amazing and so helpful and looked after us and made sure we had the most amazing time. We do have a 48 hour period where we advise customers not to book their flights while we confirm their space on a trip with our in country team. We can see that your space has been confirmed, have a great time on your trip!

“I had a blast on my trip. Everything they had planned turned out to be a great time. My one complaint would be that had I booked everything myself (hostile, tours, etc), I probably could have saved half the cost. However I would never have known of any of those things without Gap 360. So for that, I’m very glad I chose them.”
