“Our guide, Patrick, was absolutely brilliant. He was knowledgeable, supportive and always there to help us. He went the extra mile to help people constantly through our tour and there’s no doubt that he made it so good for all of us.
The tour itself was brilliant, although there are some hidden entrance/activity fees which you would expect to be included in the price you pay and the accommodation booked towards the end of the trip, where we were given free days, made it difficult to try and sort our own adventures for those days because of the isolated location.
This is no reflection on our guide, who was brilliant in trying to find options and helping us in to town to get things like balls for the beach and more. Patrick was always ready to try and help give advice and support and was enthusiastic throughout and very quickly it felt like he was our friend and one of the group as opposed to just our tour guide.

“My Thailand intro was great. I enjoy all of it. Best part was definitely getting to see the elephants and seeing parts of the Thai culture. Our tour guide Can was great, he knew excellent English and was able to describe and teach us so much. Can was also so helpful at telling us what we could do during free time, where to go what bars are the best what activities we could do. Only down side was location of some of the hostels are far away from main attractions so you had to pay for taxis a lot if you wanted to do something on your free time.”

“Easy to use website with relatively quick and helpful customer service.
Only downfall is the lack of communication about who the tour operator actually is as all my 3 tours were not run by gap, other operators. So when I’m receiving emails from other operators they are easily missed or come as a bit of a last minute suprise. I wasn’t aware that they were run by other operators and think this should be communicated a little more in pre departure info.”

“I had an amazing 25 day trip to Thailand meeting the most wonderful people! We did many activities with Gap that I don’t think you would be able to do without booking a tour. Our group leader Markie was really lovely, helpful and friendly! She knew lots about each place we stayed, where to go and what to do, and was brilliant at helping us to organise optional activities! I would say there were lots of additional costs that the group weren’t expecting and could have been broken down a bit better but other than that a great trip!”

“this was a really great trip! although i don’t think you get many activities included for the price you pay and if weather is bad there’s not a lot to do on the islands. The accommodation is ok but on some islands it’s far away from the main bars/ food places. Our tour guide nyla was amazing and couldn’t commend her more”

Our tour leader, Kung, was so nice and very helpful. Fun trip, ended on a high snorkeling with sharks and turtles!”
