I bought two pairs of Gabor sandals in 2014 "Impression" and "Adeline". They were so comfortable that I was confident in ordering another two pairs, "Colo" and "Boa". Both were so narrow there was no way I could wear them. So disappointing compared to my original purchases.

I like Gabor shoes but The pair I ordered last week from Charles Clinkard I had to return because of they didn't fit! I was really angry that I had to return them via registered post which cost me £8.55! I think that is appalling! So I hope whoever reads this takes note!!

Hello Susan, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and I am sorry that you have been left disappointed with your recent purchase. Whilst we offer free delivery, at the moment free returns is not something we offer. We do realise that some methods of posting can be expensive, so for this reason we do advise on our website to check Collect+ out (the links are on our website to purchase a return label). The cost for this is around £4 and you can return multiple items with one label. I do hope that in light of this, you haven't been put off ordering from us again in the future. The shoes came in a battered box and were in poor condition with the part of the side panel scraped.they seem to have been damaged or on the shelf for a long time, put in an old box and sent through.you would have expected a check on them before they are sent out.we have kept them because we can't be bothered wrapping and sending through the post office which is not near where we live.It is very disappointing service and quality whereas similar shoes made by gabor from shoon and house of Fraser came through in good condition.

I ordered the shoes 7th June and had email confirmation they had been despatched later on that day (being sent to local shop for collection). Next email I received is on 14th June asking me to review my purchase! I phoned the shop thinking the shoes must be there but they hadn't notified me but no they are still not in. Rubbish service!

product - great Service & systems for purchasing – appalling 1st time I tried to purchase sandals I clicked buy, but by the time I got to the checkout they were out of stock? I waited for the email to and when they came back into stock I went back and purchased the items. I then had an email a day later with – update on your order! They had run out stock! – What???? 3 days later I had another email saying that my order had been dispatched??? How can you run a business like this?

Hello Rebecca, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent online experience. I can see you placed two separate orders for the same item. We could only fulfil one of these orders, which is why we emailed you about cancelling one and then about dispatching the other. Occasionally, when multiple orders are placed for the same item within a short space of time, demand can outstrip supply and whilst rare, it does mean we have to cancel the order. I am sorry that you didn't enjoy your online experience shopping with us but I hope you give us another chance in the future, and I hope this response explains why you received two emails with conflicting messages. For shoes costing £89.99 I was very disappointed in the poor design and quality. The buckle idea was peculiar, it didn't work and the metal was very shoddy. The quality generally was not up to Gabor standards. I have had to return them which cost me £4.40. I am not at all happy and won't order Gabor online again.

I ordered online. Received the wrong size shoe. Paperwork accompanying parcel showed size originally ordered. Staff obviously not paying attention to what they were doing. Returned shoes, guy on phone very helpful emailed return label within minutes, but no confirmation of receipt of shoes. Now wishing I had placed order with Charles Clinkard instead. Buck up Gabor or lose customers!!

Beautiful boots so pleased with them. Shopping experience overall was poor but this was down to the poor information received from the delivery company interlink express. Boots failed to turn up on 2 occasions and once delivered nobody could tell me which neighbour had then, no card put through my door either. Frustrating.

I promised myself I would never buy another pair of Gabor shoes after the heel fell off boots I had purchased - John Lewis replaced them immediately but the sole fell off the replacement. This time around, the tip of the heel is coming off and I have only worn the shoes once - I will be returning them this week. Unfortunately, I ordered them online and had to pay for delivery and will also need to pay for the return - not a happy shopper.

Although I am happy with the purchase I made the actual experince of receiving the goods was extremely poor. Interlink express did not follow instructions, there website stated that a secure place for delivery could be selected, which I did only to find a calling card was left as I was not at home. I tried calling to rearrange but my call was eventually disconnected without speaking to anyone so I emailed them only to receive a reply 2 days later (despite them stating a reposnse would be sent within 24 hours) stating I needed to put it in writing if I wanted the parcel left in a secure place. I eventually received the good 3 days after the requested delivery date and when the driver was asked why he had not followed instructions for leaving the parcel on the previous 2 dates he said he had not been given the information. I think if you are using Interlink Express for deliveries they should at least provide the service they say they offer on their website as it is reflecting on your service to the customer. I am still waiting on a further response from them after I expressed my disatisfaction of their customer service but am not expecting a reply any time soon.

Safe place instructions are normally carried out without issue, so I am not sure how this has been overlooked by them. I am confident it is an isolated incident however it is still unacceptable. Hello Gemma, Thank you for your email and I am sorry to read about your disappointment. Unfortunately the address you gave us before dispatch was incorrect, so it was returned to us by Royal Mail after going out for delivery. If this happens usually, our couriers will contact us to see if we can amend it (rather than have it returned) however this isn't the case in Northern Ireland. Smaller sizes are harder to come by I am afraid, simply because a lot of manufacturers don't produce them. I do hope you have some luck in the future though and find a style that is suitable for you. I was very disappointed when my Gabor Rani shoes arrived after waiting some time for a size 8 to come into stock. The shoes had no inside protection, they were empty of any stuffing at all. So they arrived creased. There were also numerous scratches on the outside and looked like they had been previously worn. They did not have any in my size as a replacement. I am though happy that the company send me a Collect + pre-paid sticker to return so that I did not have to bear the cost, but this meant an unnecessary trip to a local shop.

We do state in our terms and conditions that the shoes may have come from one of our stores and therefore may have been tried on, however they should not have been sent to you in a poor condition and we will investigate into how this has happened.
