“My last purchase from Gabor was very disappointing - I ordered a beautiful pair of "Chanel style" shoes, they arrived promptly as always, looked beautiful but despite having ordered my usual size 39, I could not get foot into them so sadly had to send them back. The service if always excellent, I have frequently ordered - and kept, Gabor shoes and will continue to do so, but I do wish there were sometimes wider fittings.”

“I love Gabor shoes however have found less choices of G available and stores have limited choices also. Ordering on line for the first time I was disappointed at return costs and will not use this again.”

Thank you for your review. We do hope that you find that there are more G fitting shoes available soon as the new summer stock comes in. There are a couple of Lakeland stores not too far from you who have Charles Clinkard concessions within, where there are Gabor shoes for sale. With regard to postage, we deliver free of charge, but do ask if customers can cover the cost of returns. Royal Mail second class with tracking is the lowest cost way, but there is also a link on our website where for the low cost of £4.49, you can return up to 10 kilo. “Needed white sandals not too high. Dislike velcro strap and quite honestly I think they are over priced by £20”

“Unfortunately, the shoes were too small. I’ve a similar pair in the same size which fit well so I’m not sure if the shoes are now made a little smaller. I feel returns should be free. I had to pay 10% (£9.50) of the shoe price to send it back. Other shops cover the cost of returns so it’s disappointing Gabor don’t. As I result, I probably won’t buy online again.”

With regard to returns, we do have a link on our website for £4.49 which covers up to 10 kilo in one package allowing you to return several pair in one go. “Bought the same shoes I have had multiple times previously and they came up small. Also having to pay for full postage charges for returns is a bit archaic.”

Thank you for your review. We do deliver free of charge and also cover the postage to customer if an exchange is needed, however we do ask the customer to cover return postage. You can buy a return postage label for £4.49 on our webite which covers up to 10 kilo, or take back to any Charles Clinkard store. If you choose Royal Mail, second class post is the cheapest method and you can pay around 80p more for tracking. I hope that this informaion is of help for future reference. Kind regards, janice

“I have previously bought a pair of Keegan Ankle Boots and decided on another pair as i have been really pleased with them. however, the new pair are much narrower and the finishing inside is not as good as previous. Hopefully this is a one off for Gabor”

With regard to fit, they do warm and stretch as you wear them, your feet will become more comfortable as they wear in. “I was very disappointed with these shoes. They were very hard leather. Having paid a lot of money for them I expected them to be comfortable but they weren't. I couldn't take the chance of them softening with wear, so I returned them.”

“Nice wedge style, soft leather sandals. Arrived fairly promptly but were too narrow and slightly smaller than usual 5.5 size. Returned via Post Office and had to pay £4 postage. Original purchase price refunded quickly.”

“I've always brought Gabor footwear because there made well and feet perfect. The last pair I brought were scuffed, maybe because it was an X display pair. I sent them back. Waiting for a replacement.”

“I purchased the Animate M Womens Long Boots - size 6. They arrived pretty quickly and I loved them! Sadly, I had to return them as they were to tight in the calf area. I don’t have big calves and this is not a problem I’ve ever experienced with boots before - even my daughter who is a lot slimmer and has a smaller foot size found them snug.”

Thank you for your review. We can provide the measurements for our S (slim) M (medium) and L (large) knee high boots. The width does alter as the size of the shoe alters but all of those of the same size shoe should be the same width. “Nice quality boots but narrow fitting so had to return. Would say I was massively disappointed that I had to pay for returns. That was my oversight tho not the retailer. Quite a shock as it cost me £12.50 with Royal Mail for tracking (which was what was recommended). Will certainly think twice before making a further purchase on line with this retailer.”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you had to pay so much for your shoes to be returned. You can choose second class Royal mail which keeps the cost down and then get extra tracking for around 80p more. It does sound as though they have charged you for an overnight service which is not needed. You can also find on our website a link to Collect + where for £4.49 you can create a postage label whcih covers up to 10 kilo in one package. “I have a wardrobe full of Gabor shoes and boots which I have purchased over the years and I love them. However I was very disappointed to have to pay just under 10 pounds to return a single pair of boots to you. I will not be using your website again. Very disappointed.”

You can return items to any Charles Clinkard store, you do have some that are quite close to where you live and you have up to 12 month to return for full refund so long as unworn. Alternatively, there is a link on our website to Collect + where for the reduced cost of £4.49 you can return up to 10 kilo in one package. “Being as I take a small size shoe 34 it is diifficult to get shoes to fit me. I ordered 3 pairs shoes, and only one pair of sandals fiited me. The two pair of loafers came up big in size 2 1/2 which was a shame.”

“Shoes are lovely. I bought two different finishes in the loafer, size 4.5 but they were huge! At a cost of over £16 I had to return them. I bit the bullet and decided to try the size 4 in the patent finish. The left fits fine with one of my own insoles, but the right she slips on the heel. So at another additional cost to me, I need to return them……”
