The shoes I ordered arrived but when I opened the box they contained the wrong shoes.

Thank you for leaving aa review. I have written to you seperately with the tracking number of your order and the website where you can track your order. Your full order was send out from us on the 31st August, it arrived in Icelend on the 4th September. It appears that it is in customs at the present time. Very disappointed on receiving my purchase. First of all the box the sandals were in was falling apart and then on expecting the sandals they looked as if they were second hand. The only good thing was on contacting the vendor, they were apologetic and sent me a pre paid return slip.

The cost of return is not reasonable at all. I wanted to buy and try on quite a few shoes but because of the return cost I am hesitant to do it. The quality of shoes is excellent as always!

Thank you for your review. You can purchase a label on our website using a collect + service that will cover up to 10 kilo of return for the low cost of £4.49. Hello, Thankyou for your review. We offer a flexible free delivery with no minimum spend however we do ask customers to pay towards the cost of returns. There are many cost efficient ways you can return an item such as Collectplus which is £4.49 and this covers up to 10kg, Royal Mail have a variation of services and of course you are welcome to return to a store, any Charles Clinkard store can offer a return or an exchange. I ordered a pair of shoes online and requested express delivery at 2.99a date was given and an email confirmed . My shoes did not arrive on the given date ...i sent customer service an email but was told that express delivery means up to 3 days .... this is not stated on delivery section at checkout ...very disappointed thst they did not reply to my email poor customer service...

Our Express Delivery is guaranteed dispatch within 2-3 working days however this does no include Bank Holidays I am afraid and therefore your order was delayed by an additional day. The shoe boxes came very bashed around and the return was tiresome and costly, when so many companies include a return form and have free returns. Will not buy again from Gabor

We offer a free delivery service which is dispatched within 2-5 working days, there is no mimimum cost and we currently ask customers to either return to a Charles Clinkard store or return the items to us here and we will organise a refund. Dispatch form the UK is within 5 working days and we can confirm your parcel was dispatched on the 29th March 2018 We have emailed you via your order with tracking updates and do let us know once your parcel has arrived. We have had two bank holidays over this period so this would delay any parcel as we have no couriers available on those days I am afraid. They sent one shoe (right foot) that’s was expanded and I guess this was ex display shoe that customers have tried. Will never buy from your website again.

The shoes I ordered were to replace (exactly!) a pair I had already had for a number of years. I tried to find them in local stores, but was unable to. However, one store gave me the name of the shoes I wanted and I subsequently ordered, what I thought was, the exact same shoe and size. I was extremely disappointed to receive them, as they differed from my previous pair in that they were too tight and the leather was not as sift as the original pair. The delivery company were not up to scratch either.

There is nothing wrong with the shoes but I’m not happy with the buy now pay later. I clicked a button and next minute had ordered. I feel this is just a way of companies making money charging interest

Hello Nicola, We are currently using a system called Klarna which provides a friction free checkout for our customers. There is an option to Pay Now for your order or you can opt for Pay Later and there is no interest charge for this. If you call Klarna on 020 300 50844, they are available to speak to Monday to Friday between 8am to 5pm. They will be able to advise you further. I ordered a lovely pair of Louisa black boots ... when I opened my parcel the box inside was broken and torn and looked like it had been taken out of the rubbish bin, the paper in the box was covered in black polish and all crunched up , the boots had obviously been tried on so many times, very marked and scratches in the front... very disappointed and have had to return them and now left with no boots as you could not replace them

I purchased a bag for my mother for Mother's Day ,one week in advance .it arrived two days late and I was so disapionted ,because it was supposed too be navy blue not black like the one in the picture it was the wrong colour.i was wondering could you check your stock to see if you had the navy one because the black one deos not suite.sarah mc oake mc grath here from Ireland ,thank you

Hello Sarajane, Thankyou for your review. Firstly with regards to your order, we received this on the 5th March and dispatched the very next day for you with our courier. On tracking your parcel this arrived in EIRE on the 10th March ready for delivery, we are unaware of what delayed your order, this could be down to customs or other factors which are beyond our control and we are sorry this was not with you in time. The Gabor Nicola is showing as Blue however when we have check other stock, the colour is very near to black, when photographing items we try to include as much detail as possible and also highlight the colour-we fully appreciate your disappointment and have contacted you via your order. I sent the boots as they were too big and i did not like the style. I sent them back on Tuesday 6th March as recorded delivery but have not had an acknowledgement or any payment for my returns.

Thank you for your review. To date we do not appear to have had a return of your boots. Do you have a tracking number so that we can see if it has arrived with us please. You can call us on 0345 241 7742 where we discuss this with you. It is only a local rate call. All of our returns and refunds are processed within a 48 hour period from us receiving the return, where an email would be sent to you to let you know. The delivery process is very poor. Apparently they tried to deliver on the 26th Feb and no card was placed through the door so I had no idea delivery had bedn attempted. I only found out via email. Like many people I have huge volumes of emails so a text would have been better. Instead of being able to go to my local post to pick up the package I have to rearrange delivery. I could not fathom out via the royal mail website how to arrange to pick up the item from the local depot as it did not give me the choice to say yes. My package will be delivered on the 3rd March. In view of the forgoing I am very disappointed with the service.

Royal Mail currently do no offer a text service I am afraid and we apologise on their behalf for the overall delivery experience. You can opt for a specific courier and we have UK MAIL ad Interlink avalable who can leave your item in a safe place. Interlink have a one hour time slot option which you are informed via text or email. THis couldbe the perfect option for you in the future. Tried a size 5 on in the shop but this was very big, didn't have a smaller size so had to ordered a 4.5 off the website, needed these shoes for my holiday so ordered with express delivery, when received these shoes were huge & had to send them back, wasted £7. Think maybe you need to look at your sizing!

The Gabor Frost shoes are a standard C+ fitting which is a comfort fit and also constructed with a supple lining and a pliable sole allowing the shoe to be more flexible as you walk. We cannot guarantee a style will fit especially as size is so personal and many factors can affect this. The reviews of this product have not raised any queries with the size , its a style continued each season due to the popularity and we are naturally very disappointed you did not enjoy wearing these. We offer standard delivery which is free with no minimal cost, we do currently ask for returns to be covered by our customers. These can be taken into a Charles Clinkard store and you can also opt for COLLECTPLUS which is £4.49 and is for up to 10kg, you just need to pay for the label online and print off the label. We appreciate all feedback from our customers as it reflects the level of service we offer and also assists us in growing as a company. Hi, Thank you for your review. One of the ways to avoid this is to use a thin insole and then you can replace it whenever you need to and it keeps the shoes really fresh and in good condition for much longer. You can purchase a shoe deoderant which will freshnen the shoes and then you can use the insoles afterwards. I find that his helps a lot especially in hot weather and you may find it beneficial to you too. WIth regards, Janice Ruddock - customer services.

Sadly the boots had to be returned which to ensure they were tracked and had enough insurance left me £17 out of pocket. Not a great experience and I will not be purchasing from you again due to this
