“Briano boots. These are very nice quality boots. However I chose them because I understood they were wide fitting; they are not. I should have taken more notice of reviews that also made this point. Unfortunately I had to return them”

“Recently bought a pair of shoes from Gabor, I always have to buy a size up to get a good comfortable fit, does vary with manufacturer. They are nice, I’m happy with them. Also another advantage, they do different width fittings on some of there footwear, a big advantage . I know if I look at there footwear I wont be disappointed.”

“The shoe is beautiful and looks really well made. The quality of material and comfort is excellent. However, the band around the inner edge digs into my skin a bit. This shoe was chosen because it was wide fit and marketed as comfortable so I was expecting more of that. At the moment, i have stuffed it with papers to see if it will stretch the band a bit. Other than that, its exactly what i was looking for!”

“I have been wearing Gabor shoes for many years. They are usually comfortable straight out of the box and the sizing is consistent. The pair I purchased was the last pair in my size. Unfortunately the left shoe is very tight. Since the shoes are leather I think it will ease with wear but it's the fourth time I have purchased this style and the first time a shoe has been uncomfortably tight. Heads up to US customers. For the first time I had to pay duty on these shoes. ($34) Not Gabor's fault but I think there should be a note on the website about duty.”

“Excellent service for delivery and refund, but unfortunately shoes were not wide enough for my wife (despite them being okay as checked by her measuring them as suggested). Shame as she really liked them, but they were nowhere as wide as the Waudlaufer H that she has”

“The ankle boots I bought were very comfortable on first wearing It would be good to see a range of more adventurous colours such as burgundy suede I would also like to see mid calf boots with the same heel and platform structure. Despite being mature I want to have the choice of elegance and comfort which is why I like the raised heel and platform combo. I have a suede pair which I bought last year but feel the suede is somewhat shabby and thin. The leather is better”

“Bought size 2.5 ankle boot in black. My usual size. They were very narrow so had to return them. I bought them in brown last year in a three. They were a little big so put a toe insole inside as I really needed them. Not very comfy. Big difference in the fit between 2.5 and a 3.”

“I have bought a pr of Gisele open court shoes with a cross over strap in navy to wear at a wedding. I have wide feet with bunions and buying shoes is an absolute nightmare! The Gabor shoes I have bought are wide fitting and feel fairly comfortable for the short time I have tried them out. They go really well with my outfit. Please Gabor, can you make more styles in wide fittings?”
