Loved the boots particularly the Midnight Blue but unfortunately both pairs were too narrow on the calves and had to be returned. I don't think that the online information was clear enough about the fit. The biggest disappointment was that it then cost £27 to return the boots. Next time I would buy online from John Lewis as the returns are free. I think that Gabor need to change this policy in line with the vast retailers that I use so all in all a mixed response from me. Fab boots but poor company to deal with.

You have up to 365 days to return an item as long as its unworn and you can use any method preferable to you however, it is recommended that a tracked service is used for your reassurance. There are other services that offer a cost-efficient return and you can also take the items back to a Charles Clinkard store for a refund or an exchange. Collectplus for example is £4.49 for up to 10kg and this would cover multiple pairs or larger items. The boots took quite a long time to arrive .I had to send them back and pay £11 postage as Gabor shoes expect their customers to foot the bill to return their items .

The website is easy enough to use and the boots arrived on time. Unfortunately neither pair were a good fit and the return shipping that covered the value of the items was very expensive, plus I had to post both back separately due to the size of the boxes. It has put me off ordering again. Around the same time I ordered boots from a different website which also had to be returned, but they provided a return label that had a reduced price, so only £2 per package would be removed from the refund value. Spending over £10 per parcel returned just isn't cost-effective.

Hello Thankyou for your review. We do offer a free delivery service on items over £40.00 however do advise returns are payable by the customer, this is included on the wesbite. You are welcome to return these via Royal Mail however there are other courier companies which may offer a more competitive choice. A tracked service is recommended although you are welcome to use any service which is preferable to you. The shoes I ordered were of poor quality. The material inside the shoes was poorly manufactured so caught on my toes. Customer Services were good and sent me a free returns label. Hence the extra star otherwise I would give a 1 star. I do not expect £95 worth of shoes to be poorly put together.

I was keen to have another pair of the same pumps but unfortunately no shops are open any longer so I ordered online. The package arrived promptly but the fit was different and I needed to return them. On reading your policy, I discovered that it would be my responsibility to return them and at a significant cost to ensure a tracked service. I have instead given them to my daughter who lives 3 hours away and will be able to return them to a functioning store. This will therefore deter me from purchasing anything further.

We do ask for items to be sent tracked for your reassurance however you are welcome to return via any method which is suitable for you. To have to pay for returns on shoes puts me off buying. Getting the right fit is hard and I would have preferred to have chosen two sizes to make sure I have proper fitting shoes.

Having bought a pair of Gabor trainers that I have worn almost daily over the summer, I decided to treat myself to a new pair for autumn. Unfortunately, the new pair have a more pointed toe and hence are too narrow! I looked online if anything suitable for exchange and sadly not ☹️ Add to my disappointment, I had to pay £5 yesterday to return them as free returns not an option!! I will read the small print carefully next time as they are not cheap shoes, then having to pay to return them means not a happy customer!

Very disappointed with order -box arrived damaged and shoes appeared to have been worn Have now purchased Gabor boots from a shop even though had to travel quite some miles which I tried to avoid.

Fastening is shown as buckle. It is in fact velcro fastenings with plastic buckle decoration. Not tge standard I am used to from Gabor.

Very disappointed with the boots. They had a very sharp tack sticking through from the heel through to were your actual heel goes. This hurt my foot when trying on ! This should not have passed quality control. Due to this I had to return at my own expense which I don't agree with. Decided to drive hour to a shop to return instead of cost of postage. Lady in shop helpful and was very surprised at nail tack sticking through. Now waiting for my 170.00 to be returned

My lovely boots did not fit. Unfortunately I’ve had to pay £9.00 to return. Therefore I will not be purchasing anything else from Gabor as it has a very expensive return system. In future I will stick to shops like John Lewis where I can return and in fact end up buying more and keeping.

Although I like your shoes and boots and have many pairs I was shocked at the cost of returning a recently ordered pair of boots online. Yours is the first company that has charged for the items to be returned. Due to the value of the items it cost £18.59 for the return, which is 10% of the value. This has soured my opinion of your company.As a result I will never buy anything online again from your company and will seriously consider buying your footwear in person.

I returned both pairs of shoes. One pair was too small - not your fault! The other pair were scuffed so faulty - I paid £11.50 to send them back but I would have had the second pair. Didn’t reorder as I didn’t want to find I been sent another pair that was faulty so went to the shops instead!

Shoes arrived damaged and delivery was from Charles Clickard (which was not made clear at all when purchasing through the Gabor site). I had to return the shoes to the shop otherwise would have to pay for return delivery. I will not be buying from Gabor again.

The shoes arrived in a very tatty box, I almost thought they were second hand. Also, the Gabor wording inside the shoes was feinter on one of the shoes. I almost sent them back. I was not impressed.

Not happy with service. Realised as soon as I had clicked the "pay" button that I had ordered the wrong colour shoe. Phoned up and was told the order could be cancelled and I should just order again in the right colour. A few days later TWO pairs of shoes turned up, so I had to go to the post office and stand in queue for ages to send one back. Why did Gabor tell me the first order was cancelled when it wasn't??
