“Ordering online has its drawbacks, the goods came and were not as expected, narrow in the foot and very uncomfortable, altogether a disappointing buy..... goods returned. Other items bought in the past have been great, perhaps this was a one off thing.”

“sandals arrived after several days wait and the box inside the parcel looked like it had been through the mill....not what I would expect from Gabor...sadly shoes were too big my error they on had 6.5. in stock at the time therefore had to return and pay postage...again would have thought at price of sandals return postage would have been included or possible the option to pay a nominal fee to return”

“Bought Gabor shoes and boots for many years now. I have always loved the style and fit. The quality has always been excellent. However I am becoming g increasingly disappointed with products the company seems very willing to ignore the needs of customers in particular those requiring smaller fitting and narrower fitting shoes. The regular fit shoes are much wider than they used to be and the majority of styles only available in wide fit. I have always bought my boots from Gabor as I have elm calf and ankle. I have measured previous boots calf 31 inches. Slim leg maybe boots now measure 33 inches which are 2 inches wider than previous.”

“Excellent pair of boots but very little information about width within boot for wider feet. I was also bothered by one review that claimed your boots were not waterproof. Please say whether or not they are… Please include navy as a standard colour for all your shoes. Black is great, as is brown, but navy is a key colour. So: waterproof, colours (you will sell more with more colours), and sleek styles. Thank you.”

“Delivery speed was super quick but sizing is off. I ordered a size 6 having tried size 5 in store and they don’t feel any bigger.”

If you would like to return your item for refund, please follow the return instructions (Royal Mail second class is cheapest and you can add tracking for about 80p more) and ensure your order number is within the package and we will refund for you. Alternatively you can take back to a Charles Clinkard store. “Normally all good but this time the shoe on the right came up small so had to return which cost about £9. (Tracker) so not pleased”

Thank you for your review. With regard to returns, we do offer a full year so long as an item is unworn, and you can take them back to any Charles Clinakrd store where they will arrange your refund. Alternatively you can post back second class Royal Mail for around £2.85 and pay 80p more from tracking. You seem to have used a next day premium service which does cost more. There is also a link on our website to collect + where for £4.49 you can get a tracked return label that covers up to 10 kilo so you can return many pairs at one time. Many customers if they need a shoe to be a more roomy fit, get a half size bigger and this gives the extra area within the shoe. It does not work for everyone, but may be worth a try for you. “I wanted long navy boots and they are not easy to find. I love the style of the Gabor boots but the navy is so dark they look black, even in a good light, which is disappointing. I am keeping them only because I cannot find any others.”

“Bought sandals they arrived promptly. Unfortunately they were too long, they looked more like a size 6 than a 5. Returns were easy but surprised I had to pay for it myself. I was kept updated and credit was in my bank 3 days after I returned them. All in all service was very good.”

“These trainers looked great, just what I was looking for. However, they were so narrow I could barely get my feet into them despite them being my usual Gabor size and apparently being an extra wide fit. I then had to pay £11 return postage for a product that I felt was not as described. So disappointing as I normally love Gabor footwear.”
