“Very disappointed I had hoped for some very comfortable shoes after paying quite a lot for them but actually they feel no more comfortable than a cheap pair. they pinched and rubbed as soon as I tried them on possible because I have quite a wide foot and these felt a narrow fitting hence the shoes are being returned.”

We do have some similar wider fitting shoes that you may like, If you copy and past this link, it will take you straight to them. https://www.gaborshoes.co.uk/womens-c1/shoes-c2#t32:t8:t9 With you having a wider foot, and buying a standard fitting shoe, if you opt for a half size bigger, many of our customers feel that this also gives extra area within the shoe and makes for a better fit, I find this works for me too, so if I get a regular fit, get a half size bigger, if a wide fit, get your own size. “I wanted to like the trainers I ordered. The style and quality were good, however, the seam stitching rubbed my little toe. The delivery service was fairly fast. My main disappointment was the high cost of returning the shoes so I wouldn't order again.”

“Having had Gabor shoes in the past and knowing they are made to a high standard I ordered a pair of sandals on line. They arrived in express time, excellent quality only problem was I could not get them on. I have a standard width foot and after some difficulty managed to get on the right foot to find the strap across my toes was baggy. Getting it off was also difficult si I didn't bother trying the left foot...... sorry they were returned. Had they had a buckle fastening I don't think I would have had any difficulty. Also the baggy strap was a no no. Buying on line is good if things ok but I had to pay the return postage!!!”

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you did not find these sandals to be a good fit for you. With regard to postage, we do cover the cost of postage to the customer but ask if the customer will cover the return costs or take back to a Charles Clinkard store. You can use second class Royal Mail to keep costs down, and maybe add tracking for an extra 80p. You can also take back to a Charles Clinkard store, you have 2 not too far away, you have up to a year so long as unworn, so if ou are in those areas, they would arrange a refund for you. . “Size has changed recently I was always a size 6 but now have had to get a 5.5. when comparing to my past Gabor purchases these shoes are still slightly bigger than my 6. I have been wearing Gabor shoes for many many many years now. Quality has remained reasonable for this present day.”

“Absolutely love my Gabor shoes, so stylish and comfortable especially as I have wide feet. They also offer great comfort and support as I am recovering from a fractured ankle. They look great with jeans, cropped trousers and I can walk in them for hours without any rubbing or pain.”
