“Ordered a pair of trainers online. What arrived were shoes of two different shades. Disappointing, but of course good customer service is as much about correcting issues as it is about delivering the goods. I telephoned and spoke to a very nice gentleman who apologised profusely, sent me a pre-paid returns label and advised that I would be refunded as quickly as possible - which I was. Apart from the initial issue, can't fault the service at all.”

“I have a pair of Gabor ankle boots and they’re the most comfortable and stylish boots I’ve ever worn. I’ve just bought my second pair and they are equally stylish but the comfort factor is amazing!”

“I would love to give a star but can’t do minus five. The shoes delivery took time, they do not fit and I sent them back. Returns take ages. Send them back on 3 May and still didn’t received compensation email, but received confirmation email for another return which I sent back a couple of weeks ago. All returns have to pay on my own costs. I do not recommend buy Gabor shoes online unless you are 100% sure they will fit.”

“Where's my review? It was so damning that I guessed they chose not to publish it. In a nutshell: ill fitting uncomfortable shoes. Came USED with a note saying if I return they must be unused and I MUST PAY for return delivery on what's effectively a defective product. The air is blue around me. What the h planet are you on Gabor? First and LAST I order from you. Absolutely appalling service to beat the worst.”

“I am actually taking the time to write this review nearly a year after buying the Sheila Ladies Casual Trainers in hopes of warning others not to buy them! Never have I had such uncomfortable, pinching shoes that fail to soften over time. They are the correct size but no matter how I have tried to wear them in continue to cause blisters and rubbing due to the poor design. Do not buy these shoes!!!”

“Lovely shoes but I bought the wrong size, so I was not happy that I couldn't return them to a concession for an exchange. As it was I sent them back for a refund - after travelling 20 miles to the concession. If I had been allowed to exchange the shoes for a smaller size at the concession I would have been a happy customer and kept the shoes. I was so disgruntled that simply settled for the refund and will not shop online with them again. I should say that the customer services assistant who emailed me when I was grumpy, was terrific - a great service from her. This company though needs to seriously look at its policy to not allow concessions to do returns and exchanges for stuff purchased online.”

“I love your shoes and have done so for many years.The fit is always spot on and comfortable. I have one complaint.When I go to your website and enter my desired details in search it invariably alters the content.I have actually despaired of purchasing the last pair of sneakers I wanted. I put in H fit and it just keeps saying Hi !!!! Having said that I am will not be deterred from buying Gabor shoes/boots/etc/They really are the very best.”

If we have sold out of stock in our warehouse, we do source pairs from our stores as each has a small holding warehouse to replenish their own stock. Sometimes, these may have been tried on, but this should always be checked before being dispatched. I am sorry that on this occasion we have let you down.
