“Best boots. I need them very flat but stylish. I need them easy and quick to get on. These bots have zips and laces - the design is brilliant and soooo comfortable!! 😊 I wear them regularly and bought the same to replace them when needed, going for the exact same style. This autumn, I had difficulty buying from John Lewis in my size 6 so this year I went online and purchased directly from Gabor - two pairs in black and brown !! I recommend.”

“I have been wearing Gabor shoes and boots for years as they are of excellent quality and seem to suit my feet. I mostly buy in black or navy and in either suede or plain leather and both materials wear well. Keeping shoe trees within a shoe following use helps to keep the shoes in good shape and uncreased. I always leave the shoes out of storage for a day to air following use. It is helpful that some styles are offered in half sizes as depending on the basic shape of the shoe I sometimes need a half a size up or down. Some of my shoes I wear with fine close fitting socks with trousers, so again that may alter the size required. These shoes are not the cheapest but with good care, they tend to last well. I always spray with a protector ahead of first use which avoids staining from rain and grime, and often use a rubber suede brush to smarten up suede shoes. Happy to recommend.”

“Disappointing experience. I ordered two pairs of suede boots in different sizes. On delivery, the boxes were broken, the boots were not properly packed (no paper stuffing inside the boots) and so were misshapen and scuffed. Obviously both pairs were returned! I have ordered online from Gabor before and been extremely pleased with the items and how they were packaged but this experience has left me questioning whether I would order from Gabor in the future.”

“Im very impressed with my Gabor Zumba ankle boots. On my dog walks, I have usually gone for technical footwear from the top outdoor brands such as The North Face, Helly Hanson , to name but two. Having walked through grass I’ve always returned home with very wet feet, something which at the age of 68, I absolutely detest. No amount of waterproofing with technical washes and sprays has cured the problem for more than a couple of wears. This morning I put on my Gabor boots, adjusted the laces and then zipped them up. I was already looking forward to taking them off without having to unlace them, thinking this would be a real treat. I suffer from neuropathy in my feet and it’s quite difficult to get your shoes laced up the same way on two consecutive days for comfort, so these boots appeared to solve that problem. This morning the weather in Derbyshire is atrocious. It’s been raining all night. There is standing water, even on pavements. The wind is howling and although on days like these, I try and stick to hard ground my dogs do like to “go” on grass. This is when the wet feet occur but I am delighted to report, not this morning. Not one speck of moisture got through. They are now drying and I shall give them a good polish with appropriate wax polish as I’m a traditionalist with leather and like to keep it well nourished and I have to say that even though the weather is set to be like this all day, I’m actually looking forward to going out again later today wearing these boots. You are the answer to my prayers. I am over the moon with these boots and the soul did not slip once when I was on the grass even though there is quite an incline, they held me steadfastly. They were so comfortable, I didn’t really notice the rain. I’ve always bought Gabor for formal wear and more fashionable wear, never thinking of Gabor for technical, outdoor weather wear but today I’ve seen the light and I’m very grateful.”

“I have had many pairs of Gabor shoes in the past, and I have ordered most of those on line. This was the first time that I received a Pair of Gabor shoes from Clinkard Ltd and I was dismayed at how poorly the shoes was packaged. The shoes had hardly any protection round them and was falling about in the Clinkard box. I expected them to be packaged in a Gabour box with careful packaging. Sadly one of the shoes has a slight mark on it. I really expected better, especially seeing that they were not cheap - I think it is fair to expect better when a pair of shoes cost £89.99 from a very good brand. I will certainly never order from Clinkard Ltd again.”

“It was my first time shopping from Gabor shoes, my boots arrived within a few days & I have been so pleased with them, they are an excellent fit, the only slight negative was that the dark brown is not as dark as it looks online. They are a smart pair of suede boots & I am very happy with them.”
