“It took longer than expected for the service technician to come out. When he came out, he was rude and not pleasant or helpful at all. After he left, we paid £250 only to find we have the same issues again.”

Thank you for your feedback. We have looked into this for you and we see that an engineer attended site within 48 hours of the initial report of a fault in late March. This is within the 1 - 3 working days that is advised although we understand that when equipment has a fault it is frustrating and inconvenient. A fully refundable £250 deposit is taken prior to an engineer attending a call out to cover for the possibility of a non-warranty call out. The deposit is being refunded in full. The engineer fixed the issue during the initial call-out and the equipment was operating as expected. During the Easter weekend you reported that the unit was again experiencing an issue. Within 6 hours of our return to the office replacement parts had been despatched on a next day service. Please let us know when these have been received. The engineer will be attending before the weekend to resolve the issue. With regard to the engineer, we apologise that you found him unhelpful and we have raised your concerns with the manufacturer. The warranty team have spoken with John, the site contact, regarding this and he assured them that everything was fine, however they have arranged for a different engineer to attend site as per a separate phone call. If there's anything further we can assist with please get in touch.

“This was our second purchase from FFD, as they provided a very competitive quote. Delivery was scheduled and received on time. The freezer did arrive with some scratches, but the team was very responsive and forthcoming in acknowledging the issue and working towards a resolution. Overall, a positive experience once again — would happily recommend!”

“Absolutely shocking! Fridge doesn’t work and won’t refund or replace it, just want to send someone to look at it! Have been without working fridge now for over a week and still waiting for someone to look at it. Would rather a new one but have refused point blank! Will never buy from FFD again!”

Thank you for your review. We understand how frustrating and inconvenient it is when refrigeration isn't working, however we have raised a warranty call out with the manufacturer and engineers aim to attend call outs within 1-3 working days. The manufacturer does reserve the right to attend site where a fault has occurred to inspect the issue and see if it can be repaired before offering refund or replacement alternatives. This is standard with all manufacturers in the commercial industry. As we have explained, if the equipment is irreparable, the manufacturer will have to replace the equipment, but until this has been determined we are doing all that we can. We will continue to liaise with the manufacturers for you to ensure this issue gets resolved in the quickest time possible. We are working for you on this matter while working within predetermined parameters. If you would like to discuss this further with the team, please get in touch and we'll be happy to confirm the actions we are taking.

“Great customer service as the company called me about the order and telling me the best way about the delivery service and pre warned me if missed then you would have to pay for another but the delivery time couldn't be any better then expected.”

“Communication was good throughout and I asked alot of questions, which were all responded to. The branding was looked in to and arranged swiftly for us. We are really pleased with our products for our new business. Had to make a cancellation to one item, it was at that time leaving the warehouse, but despite this my cancellation was handled promptly. Deliveries were all scheduled and again commuciation on these was good. Thank you so much.”

“First time using and very disappointed. Delivery slot was for 8am- 6pm and waited all day. Had to called at 5 as I had no call to say when they are coming. I was told they will be there before 6pm. Didn’t turn up, then I started calling every half hour to then find out they will not get to me til 8pm. Poor service and didn’t even call to apologies for the late delay. Very disappointed, I would of turned it away.”

Thank you for your feedback. We apologise that your delivery was made outside of typical times, and we can assure you that this is a rare occurrence and not standard practise. The delivery company made contact with you shortly before 5pm to notify you that delivery would be delayed. They didn't inform us that you had raised any concerns at the point of contact however we do appreciate that late deliveries can be inconvenient and frustrating. Delivery teams always try to make delivery on the advised day, however if this was inconvenient for you, it would have been rearranged at your request. Unfortunately, delivery schedules, while carefully planned, cannot account for traffic, accidents or other unforeseen circumstances that are the causation of delays and so the delivery team do try to keep customers informed if there are any issues. While we advise that someone must be on site to accept delivery, we do also say that the delivery company will notify when they are on route. This is to avoid customers having to potentially wait in all day. Again, apologies for any inconvenience.

“I was a bit dubious to order as hadn’t heard of this company, but it was a good price for the display fridge -freezer we wanted, and so we went for it. We had excellent service. We received a call shortly after ordering, talking us through the delivery process and what to expect on delivery with regards to unwrapping and checking the product over. The delivery arrived on time and we are happy with the product.”
