Product service is good as I can't get to France as often as I would like. I was expecting delivery on a Friday but delivery was delayed until the Monday, with no explanation. As one of the items was cheese, I would have thought delivery on time would be crucial. Would think twice about ordering again

Products fine but did not like polystyrene packaging in box and will not order again until this is changed to something non-plastic.

Hi Sorry to hear this. Please do note that the flo pak green loose fill we use is made from 100% recycled Polystyrene and is both degradable and is also recyclable in some areas. Kind regards, Matt French Click

Parcel arrived on time, well packed and cool. St Nectaire good, however website and delivery note said 1.7 kgs but label on cheese said 1.41 kgs Livarot excellent. Valencay a bit on damp/soft side but OK. St Maure very wet and floppy. Not sure I can improve it much so will have to avoid in future. St Agaune being dry was fine as were the three butters.

Hi Very sorry about this. We had a stock problem with the Leroux Chicoree which took about a week to resolve and us get more. We will be looking at the cause of it to make sure it doesn't happen again. Kind regards, Matt French Click

All items were in good condition. However, the artichokes were old and therefore a large number of the leaves were brown and dry.

Hi Sorry to hear this. Please contact us at sales@frenchclick.com with your order number and we can refund or replace them. This is likely a stock rotation error, we will investigate. Kind regards Matt French Click

Wide choice of products not always valid; the quality of what you order is up to you, do not expect big tips. Timely delivery, good packaging.

Sadly my first order has suffered delays due to their deliveries not arriving, which is disappointing. However, they have been very communicative and we have received prompt and most apologetic emails. It must be so annoying for them to have to disappoint their customers having been let down by their suppliers.

Hi Sorry to hear this. The orders in this delivery area are packed as if they're going to be delivered to a private address. We can also use a box, please specify in the notes box when ordering. Kind regards, Matt French Click

You are a bit expensive, Parcel Force did not activate the tracking, BUT I was too tired/lazy to drive to my local (French) supermarché, make a parcel, then drive back to the post office and then text messages told me when your goods arrived (only a little bit later than the internet promised) SO, I'm happy and now my son-in-law knows where to get Banania (if only in the overpriced small jars).

The order was fine, well packaged and fresh, except that I only received three of the four pots of cancoillotte I had ordered. Parcelforce however, declined to deliver it in the specified morning slot and when I queried where my package was I was told that it had 'missed its driver' and wouldn't be delivered, because they had a 'backlog'. I had to drive an hour to fetch my parcel on the day it should have been delivered. I realise that French Click is not to blame for Parcelforce's failures, but be aware that employing the UK's most notoriously useless delivery company is not a great way of keeping customers happy.

Easy to order, but our meat product when it arrived was not as cool as it should have been as the ice pack protector was not large enough and was already defrosting. We took the temperature of the product when it arrived and it was much warmer that it should have been. When my husband called French click to ask for advice he was told ‘I think it should be alright’. He was advised to put it in the fridge and try it the next day, and if it smelt ok it should be safe. We did that and we are ok but not sure we will purchase anymore meat products.

Hi Very sorry to hear this. If you thought the product was too warm it should have been investigated by us to see if there could be any issue and either refunded or replaced. Kind regards, Matthew French Click

Great product - I just love the smell of the hand soap. However too much packaging that can't be recycled. Delivery also not on time.

I have only put acceptable as we had paid for the goods to be delivered on a certain day but they were not delivered until the evening of the next day and the perishables in the order only had a 2 day shelf life left. I did contact Frenchclick re this as they had shown concern about my non-receipt of the order on the correct day but unfortunately they did not get back to me regarding the short shelf life.

Hi Sorry about these mistakes and the short shelf life. It looks like the order was delayed by the courier. We will will investigate about the short life item and get back to you. Kind regards, Matt French Click

Good products and prompt delivery.... but in a huge cardboad box stuffed with non-recyclable plastic bits. Surly you could use some recyclable material

Hi Sorry about the packaging. We have a smaller box size that could have been used which is half the size of that. This is a mistake we need to get sorted out with our packing team. Kind regards, Matt French Click

Things went a little wrong this time, because you didn't have the order ready in time for the day I originally arranged to have it delivered, and notice wasn't given until very late in the day, but it's not a big deal. DPD were originally going to deliver my package, and they sent me an email with a reference number. Parcelforce made the actual delivery, and they sent an SMS to my landline which wasn't so useful. There was a lot more packaging than I thought necessary, especially all the little bits of polystyrene or whatever it is. It doesn't look very bio-degradable, so unless I'm wrong about that, I'm not happy on environmental grounds.

Hi Sorry about this delay. It looks like there was a stock error which resulted in the shipping delay. We are always trying to reduce our packaging and the flo pak green loosefill does degrade and can be recycled as long as your local authority will take it. Kind regards, Matt French Click

It's good to be able to order French goods online but what I loath is the packaging: there's simply too much of it and not of the right type either. Why not use paper rather than polystyrene chips? As for buying chilled goods, I gave up doing so because of the Gel Packs, what do you do with them after you've unpacked the goods?

Hi Sorry to hear this. We are always trying to improve our packaging. We use flo pak green packing chips as it keeps its shape when used with the fresh items and is degradable and recyclable. The sorba freeze sheets we use can also be reused more information on them can be found here: https://www.sorbafreeze.com/solutions/sorbafreeze-sheets/ Kind regards, Matthew French Click
