“The website has a good selection of products at reasonable prices and the delivery was reasonably quick. The cheese I ordered was replaced by a different variety without any explanation - I was quite happy with the order otherwise but not sure if I will use this supplier again.”

“Order processingwas great but some items had a short use by date and other items were not availabe. However, I do not think a refund has been proocessed as I have received no crresondance from French Click about this.”

“Recently I placed an order which, when delivered was damaged due to the freezer gel pack breaking and damaging the butter. Trying to reach someone on the phone proved impossible and following an email I sent later, I was told the phones were down hence, not being able to get through to anybody. A replacement order was sent out promptly which I received today via ParcelForce. The driver was friendly and polite and didn't simply rush off after delivering his order. The service I received from FrenchClick, once I managed to reach someone, was excellent. An apology was given with an explanation why I couldn't get through before so everything finished well. Well almost. I gave 4 stars only because the pack I received today also had a broken freezer gel pack inside which had spilled onto the butter wrapping and as the gel pack had melted the butter was a little soft. The gel hadn't got inside onto the butter so I simply washed it off and put the butter into the fridge. I don't think this damage was the fault of ParcelForce as the main box was in perfect condition. I so wanted to give 5 stars because of the friendly service so I'm hoping this issue with the gel pack was just another unfortunate incident. I have reported the issue of the broken gel pack and offered a suggestion to FrenchClick through their "Contact us" so perhaps they will look at their picking and packing procedures or the quality of their gel pack. Otherwise I sincerely appreciate the excellent service and am happy to give the 4 stars though I would have l liked to give the 5. I have ordered stuff before and will definitely order again as I'm not being put off by the broken gel pack. My wife is French so it's a little reminder of home when she gets her biscottes and such and it is really nice to feel we are connecting with a little bit of France even if it is just an online order. The cost of everything is not unreasonable considering it's all original stuff but it would be nicer if there wasn't the extra delivery charge... but that's life.”

“I love it, thank you for bringing french food in UK. Only one thing, one item was missing on my last order. But no worrries I will still order from you. If you can maybe do more food for bbq like mexican porc, brochette, more merguez.... that would be nice.”

“I am about to try the Toulouse sausages I bought from you and which arrived 4 days before their use by date. I portioned up and froze them all. If buying from you in the future, I'd welcome a longer use by date. Once tasted I can write again. I am cooking some up tomorrow to have with an onion gravy and mashed potato.”

We appreciate your feedback regarding the packaging, please do note that the flo pak green loose fill is degradable and can be recycled at supermarket points. We do also use recycled cardboard boxes. For smaller orders we are now using paper loosefill. We can't do this for order with fresh or glass items though for package survive-ability reasons.

“I haven't tried them yet but I will say that the use by date was the day following after I received them. Very short dates on both packs. Thank you. I've had to freeze them.”

“As a long term customer I am generally satisfied buying products from French click, however I am disappointed about the expiring date on products ( biscuits) When buying more than a dozen of biscuits it is to last long. You should not expect us to finish it within a few days. My delivery was on the 16 /01/25 but the expiry date is the 31/01/25 which too short to consume. So for me it will make more sense to give a customer products with a longer expiring date if they buy a lot of products of the same category. And those who buy a few products ( cake , biscuits) with a shorter expiry date.”
