Hi Sorry to hear this. We are always trying to reduce our packaging. The flo pak green loose fill chips we use are degradable and can be recycles in some areas. The only material we are using that can't be recycled is the sorba freeze sheets. They can be re-used though. Kind regards, Matt French Click

“As usual the products are of excellent standard, but I would like to see less plastic material used in packing. The green ‘worms ‘ cannot be locally recycled, and the frozen sachets had burst, with the gel inside covering the product!”

“Very good stock and service, prices OK and comparable to mainland France, my only issue is the delivery charge is too high for small and light weight orders. If cheaper or even a slower delivery (at a reduced price) I would purchase more often.”

Hi Sorry to hear this. We do offer flat rate shipping costs, so you can buy more for the same shipping cost. It's not economical for us to to have a cheaper rate for small items unfortunately. Kind regards, Matt French Click

“Goods arrived on time but delivery process in a plastic carrier bag was very poor. As it was delivered to my work address this was seen by everyone I work with so totally embarrassing. This is the first time that I have had online delivery without a secure cardboard box or at least discrete packaging. I appreciate that you may be trying to save on packaging but it's not an appealing way of winning over customers. Should I order again i will have to come to pick up at your warehouse.”

Hi Very sorry about this. We normally pack orders in bags for our London deliveries as they usually go to residential addresses. We can put in a cardboard box but you have to specify in the notes when ordering. Kind regards, Matt French Click

“I would have given more stars but I was disappointed that the four sirops I ordered arrived dented (see photo attached) despite the bubble wrap and polystyrene chip packaging. I am concerned that the sirops may not be useable due to their condition.”

“Food arrived promptly, mostly correct but with two missing items and one order item apparently ignored. Very un-ecological packaging, full of plastic and, apparently, plastic micro-pellets. A hole punched in the box and two dented tins. The andouillettes are very welcome.”

“I ordered Marrons glace from the list but they weren't with the other items when they arrived. Only after I had queried this did I learn that they weren't available because they were a Christmas item. But for me I can eat Marrons glace any time of the year not just Christmas.”

“The food was well packed and refrigerated and of very good quality. My gripe is that I was telephoned after the goods were in transit to say the poultry de Bresse was unavailable. This was the main reason for using French Click. I feel the issue must have been known for a while and I should have been contacted earlier.”

“Rather disapointed that 2 of the 6 items I ordered were refunded and undelivered. And the Beaufort cheese at 500g actually is packaged at437g. Apart from that delivery was as stated.”

“Everything was ok with the items. They were still very cold, after a five days trip to Denmark. But an expiry date on seven days, on 11 out 12 packs of butter, I dont think that is long enough.”

“I was pleased to find that you were able to supply my favourite Cachou La Jaunie. But I was very disappointed at the way the order was packaged. I would have thought 5 small packs could easily fit into a Jiffy bag and be delivered through my letterbox. They’re not fragile, after all. Instead they arrived in a huge box ( which had to be delivered by Royal Mail van) filled with a ridiculous amount of plastic foam pieces. I am really embarrassed to think of the environmental cost of this delivery.”

Hi Sorry to see so much excess packaging on this order. We do have one smaller box size than this which could have reduced it a bit. Unfortunately due to our business type we are only setup in the warehouse to send out in boxes. We almost exclusively do orders that are suitable to be packed that way. There isn't any other practical way of us setting up. This means if an order is of particularly small volume more packaging will be used than we would like. The box can be recycled as can the loosefill chips and they will also degrade naturally. Kind regards, Matt French Click
