Got delivery of some items as advertised then advised on the door by delivery man that the bulk of the goods would be delivered two days later. Two days later I got 3/4 of the quantity ordered as they didn't have sufficient items in stock.

I ordered 4 x Maille Moutarde Estragon 215g. I received 4 x Clovis Moutarde Estragon 200g. The delivery note had been altered in manuscript - 'Maille' deleted and 'Clovis' written in. At no time had I been told that Maille was unavailable. Clovis is OK but not what I had ordered. This was my first purchase from French Click - never again.

I ordered a Baillon Buche Patissiere for £6.99 that was very disappointing, slightly squashed in the packageing and was so tasteless that it wasn't worth eating. Also Biscuits Roses de Reims for £6.25 that were also tasteless (like sponge biscuits to be soaked in a trifle). I saw no indication on the order information to say what they should be used for which would have been helpful. The other two items I ordered were very good though and the delivery was on time. Hi Thank you for your feedback .Sorry to hear about this product problem. The buches are quite fragile. We try our best to pack and protect them but the packages can get bashed around in transit. We can get another buche sent out or refund it for you? Kind regards, Matthew French Click

Although the service was good (website fine, delivery ditto) the product -- a capon, ordered for Christmas lunch -- was poor and over-priced.

The biscuits are almost all damaged in each packet 3 to 4 biscuits only were entire .. There wasn't written even the word FRAGILE outside the pack so it get handeled with care .. Supposed to be more securised knowing how fragile are biscuits and how careless Corriere are .

Hi Sorry to hear about these damaged biscuits. We can refund or replace them when they are damaged in transit. We do normally put fragile tape on all international orders so we will investigate how the order was packed. Thanks Matthew French Click

The products ordered were fine, but I've marked low because of the packaging. The goods were packed in a box at least 4 times too large, with the result that I had a box full of polystyrene chippings that, when unpacked, totally filled a black bin bag. As I care about the environment I found this to be an unacceptable level of waste. I may order again, but please do reconsider your packaging policy!

Hi Thanks for your feedback. Sorry to hear about the packaging. All the packaging is degradable and recyclable including this protective chips. The problem is this case is with the shape of the pastry ordered. It can't be bent which means if there are not other items. the box size has to be at least the width of it. Ordered a 500g box of Calissons. Received 2x 250g boxes instead of 1x 500g box. Since this was bought as a gift I'd rather of received what I had ordered, i.e. a single box. Not ideal.

When my order was delivered, one side of the box was badly dented, actually broken, and some of the box was soaked due to some leaking content. The delivery agent took it back + I contacted French click, who arranged for a re-delivery some days later. When I received mssges that my ore-order had been delivered on the new date, it had actually not been delivered to me...! Spending again some time on + money on phone calls, I was told that the parcel had been wrongly labelled. I checked with the address given, but the house looked not occupied. Again, I contacted F.C. and after their agent offered to check with the DPD delivery person, I was told that it had been left at a different address than the one that had been erroneously put on the label. I then had to carry the box to my house, which was rather inconvenient. Nothing was broken nor damaged this time, as the box had been labelled with fragile stickers. I have had recently a minor delay with an order from OCADO, and when they had realized that they had made a mistake, they offered right away £25 as a gesture of apology..... Hi We are sorry your initial order was damaged in transit. Despite us packing as carefully as we can very occasionally the packages get damaged in transit. We had the damaged package returned to us and then resent you a completely fresh order. Unfortunately the person booking this package put the wrong number on the address. The parcel was not properly addressed (no recipients name on parcel, and lines of the address omitted) , and was incorrectly delivered, delaying receipt by 3 days

We ordered french cheese and the parcel smelled awfull and there dripped some liquid outside...that is not the way I expected the parcel. Food must be save in case of sun/heat and time it takes to delivery. I though, the price ( 15.00 pounds) for delivery includes this safety? We ordered 5 cheese and one of it is best before 17.08.2014 and we get the parcel 2 days before. This is not acceptable! In view of the price I regret my order.

Hi Sorry about these problems. It seems there was a technical error and you were able to order products that we wouldn't normally ship to Germany. This is what caused the problem with the package. We can offer a refund for the order as it should not have been sent. Thanks Matthew French Click

Good morning, we would like to let you know that the product is pretty nice (good expirated date and the cans arrived well). However, the time that this order has taken to arrive our office is not acceptable. In your website informs that the shipping is 3 - 5 days and this product took 11 days. I would like to use your services but I need the products sooner than 11 days. REgards.

We have not received a product which appeared on the web as available. When we rang to check what has happened, the agent had no idea they had ran out of stock for that item. Since the customer pays in full at the time of placing the order online, then any items ordered and appearing available on the web should be reserved for that buyer and delivered. Refunding the cost of the non-delivered item is fair enough, but FrenchClick should take steps so such situations do not happen again in the future.

It seems the Andouillettes where removed from your order in error and you should have been offered a replacement brand or a redelivery of this item. We don't actually charge you until we ship out the order so you won't have been charged for them. We can send you them to you for no delivery cost next week if you like. I ordered 6 "Delices de St Agaune". In the past they have come with varying "best before dates". This time they all had the expiry date of 03.05.14, less than a week after the order date. I am not pleased with this, which is why I have rated service as "poor". If you order from Ocado and places like that, you get the freshest food, not items at the end of their expiry period.

This has probably occurred due to a bad stock rotation in France which we will look in to. We can of course replace the item if you contact us about it. Poor rating due to poor packing. My order was received complete, but... 26+ kilos of merchandise stuffed into a flimsy box with inadequate packing material is just inviting problems - even for a normal domestic delivery. My shipment was being sent internationally so it should have been obvious to Frenchclick to take better care in preparing the contents for shipment. Next time, please use a better shipping box - and at the very least, don't skimp on the interior packing material. Contents should not be permitted to move if properly packed. Perhaps the individual units of the product I ordered could have been left in their original cartons from the manufacturer (to the extent possible) to help alleviate the rest of the improperly packed boxes. (I have finished vacuuming up the loose cousous that broke free and made a break for freedom).

I would not expect to having to order at least two items to be able to complete the order and on top pay a premium shipping fee as a double insult. I suppose this is what you get when you buy premium items. 5 day delivery estimate for 5 quid is poor
