“I was pleased to find that you were able to supply my favourite Cachou La Jaunie. But I was very disappointed at the way the order was packaged. I would have thought 5 small packs could easily fit into a Jiffy bag and be delivered through my letterbox. They’re not fragile, after all. Instead they arrived in a huge box ( which had to be delivered by Royal Mail van) filled with a ridiculous amount of plastic foam pieces. I am really embarrassed to think of the environmental cost of this delivery.”

Hi Sorry to see so much excess packaging on this order. We do have one smaller box size than this which could have reduced it a bit. Unfortunately due to our business type we are only setup in the warehouse to send out in boxes. We almost exclusively do orders that are suitable to be packed that way. There isn't any other practical way of us setting up. This means if an order is of particularly small volume more packaging will be used than we would like. The box can be recycled as can the loosefill chips and they will also degrade naturally. Kind regards, Matt French Click

“Very pleased with my purchase and with the service I received. My only comment is that the packaging was quite large compared to the item. This is something which often happens; but I worry that the cumulative effect of multiple sellers doing this must be to use more delivery vans etc because of the extra space taken up by packaging.”

“Having missed our annual pilgrimage to France for the last two summers the pantry was running dry of the goods we stock up on when away. Stumbled across this site - and what a god send. Authentic products at reasonable prices (you've got to remember they are not sourcing them in the UK). The delivery arrived as scheduled and everything arrived safely, including the chilled products with some nifty chilling bags included. Will definitely use again.”

“Product service is good as I can't get to France as often as I would like. I was expecting delivery on a Friday but delivery was delayed until the Monday, with no explanation. As one of the items was cheese, I would have thought delivery on time would be crucial. Would think twice about ordering again”

“I’m afraid to say that I’m very disappointed in my first experience with French Click. The food is superb (even if much of it is supermarket-own brands, it still reminds me of “home”), however the service leaves a lot to be desired. After having been sent the wrong item - with specific allergens - I was told "too bad" when I asked for a replacement with the correct item. To be frank, the company is lucky that I read French and knew the allergens in both languages or they could have had a lawsuit on their hands. I was so chuffed to find a site that will ship the foods I miss, it's a shame that the service is so very poor but I guess... 'c'est comme ca'.”
