Recently I placed an order which, when delivered was damaged due to the freezer gel pack breaking and damaging the butter. Trying to reach someone on the phone proved impossible and following an email I sent later, I was told the phones were down hence, not being able to get through to anybody. A replacement order was sent out promptly which I received today via ParcelForce. The driver was friendly and polite and didn't simply rush off after delivering his order. The service I received from FrenchClick, once I managed to reach someone, was excellent. An apology was given with an explanation why I couldn't get through before so everything finished well. Well almost. I gave 4 stars only because the pack I received today also had a broken freezer gel pack inside which had spilled onto the butter wrapping and as the gel pack had melted the butter was a little soft. The gel hadn't got inside onto the butter so I simply washed it off and put the butter into the fridge. I don't think this damage was the fault of ParcelForce as the main box was in perfect condition. I so wanted to give 5 stars because of the friendly service so I'm hoping this issue with the gel pack was just another unfortunate incident. I have reported the issue of the broken gel pack and offered a suggestion to FrenchClick through their "Contact us" so perhaps they will look at their picking and packing procedures or the quality of their gel pack. Otherwise I sincerely appreciate the excellent service and am happy to give the 4 stars though I would have l liked to give the 5. I have ordered stuff before and will definitely order again as I'm not being put off by the broken gel pack. My wife is French so it's a little reminder of home when she gets her biscottes and such and it is really nice to feel we are connecting with a little bit of France even if it is just an online order. The cost of everything is not unreasonable considering it's all original stuff but it would be nicer if there wasn't the extra delivery charge... but that's life.

I ordered some flour from this site which arrived. I then received a request for a review. I have not tried the flour yet but I detest pointless feedback requests - hence 2 stars knocked off

I've been buying from French click for years, I've never had a problem, the food is what I bought when I was able to travel to france and buy it my self, I can't do this now, but I'm more than happy to recommend French zClivk

Ordering was easy and delivery options good. My only criticism is that it would have been good to have received prior notification of an item that could not be fulfilled and ideally offered a substitute.

Ordered 6x6 packs of 1664 Blanc Zero as it’s impossible to find in northern England. Registering for an account so simple. Order placed and payment made via PayPal on Friday, due to the Bank Holiday Wednesday was given as delivery day. Tracking details sent to my phone by DPD who had the parcel with me mid morning on the Wednesday. Brilliant service at a good price with sensible delivery costs. Will be reordering again and will add a number of items that we normally pick up in France.

I have ordered several times and items were missing each time. There is no email confirmation showing which items are missing/being refunded so I have to log in to my account and check the updated invoice is aligned with the order picking ticket. One item had yet to be refunded in my last order so I contacted them via the online form and again no email confirmation if my message reaching them. I was also given a morning time delivery window when ordering but the delivery notification was in the afternoon. Definitely not a good customer experience.

I did not like this service. I ordered one French product; a different product arrived by courier. The company had even swapped the item on my order history. By emailing them, they agreed to take back the incorrect product. The experience was a waste of my time.

The Cassoulet "La Chaurienne " was bought sometimes ago and was ecellent. The exact tasta especially with " la saucisse de Toulouse " which make the cassoulet a reference. Keep the originals available as we appreciate the products you are selling.
