“All was ok except for the delivery price. To expensive, delivery should be lower”

“I only bought a small jar of foie gras but the price of 40 pounds, even with delivery included, seems far too high to me. I shall send my own in future.”

“The customer service is very good and the delivery too. Unfortunately I find that the delicatessen like pates, cheeses have a very short validated date. Cheeses and pates should at least have a one month and I have only had 7 days to eat a whole 800g of Saucisson a l ail.”

“I had to email Sunday to find out if the package I had asked to be delivered Tuesday was going to arrive, as I had received no information since I paid online. It was delivered on time though on the Tuesday. The shipment was well packaged. When I emailed and questioned why there was a delay with the shipping information, I received a sharp reply that didn't make me want to re-order from them anytime in the near future. The products were fine, it was the customer service that was in question.”

Hi Thanks for the feedback. Sorry to hear the email customer service came across as sharp we will look into this, It looks like Tuesday was chosen as the delivery day and you should have received an email receipt when you ordered. “Quick delivery and excellent packaging but one of 5 items had a Best Before date which predated my online order. Either a bit naughty or a bit careless by French Click !! I used it on the day it arrived and it was fine but I would hesitate to order again and risk a repeat of this.”

Hi Sorry to see you received an item with a short date. The item ordered ships directly from France so should have at least a 7 day best before date on it. “Delivery was delayed due to UK Mail not having or not passing on to the driver our full address. I had to chase UK Mail for two days to secure delivery which resulted in two and a half days of waiting in for delivery man. Not the delivery mans fault he showed me his instructions when he found me after phoning from five miles away! DPD delivery was much simpler and the tracking facility also better. Apart from that French Click offers a good service for obtaining items not easily obtained elsewhere. Rating clicked as 3 stars due to delivery issues, would have gone down to 2 stars but product great as always.”

Hi Sorry for the delivery delay. It seems the UKMail driver had a problem to find your address as there is no street and the location is quite rural. We are working with them to improve the delivery service and it should be better next time. Thanks Matthew French Click

“Pleased with the Easter chocolate but disappointed with delivery time. Paid £5.99 to receive parcel between 9am and 5.30pm, it didn't turn up till after 7pm. This would put me off ordering again.”

“Food arrived well packaged with cool pack's to protect fresh food, this must account for the p&p. Have enjoyed the foods especially the fillet du porc . Ok to spend this money for a treat and a taste of authentic France. Merci beaucoup.”

“Good choice would prefer more specialities. Also did buy fresh beef and was not good. Chewy, sent email to frenchclick telling I was not happy but did not even get a reply.”

“The food was well packaged and kept fresh. The order was delivered on the right day as agreed even at such a busy time of year. However one of the items was not what I ordered and one of the items was out of date the day before I received it. As the food was part of a Xmas hamper it was too late to return and had to be thrown away.”

“I was very happy with the online service and the delivery date was accurate! What I was very disappointed with was reaching home after work and seeing the m&m Biscuits on my doorstep behind my potbplant in a clear or visible bag! It was my daughter's Christmas present she was home would have seen it - surprised ruined! I have ordered from 'French click' before and the same thing was in a brown box. Paying £8 for postage I feel it could have been sent a little bit better. Overall my daughter was ecstatic on rreceiving her biscuits Sally”

“The only problem with our order was the delivery time. we were due to receive it on a thursday waited in all day and when i phoned at 5.30 they said there had been a delay. I was told they would come the following afternoon but ended up arriving at 10am.”

“The products are generally brilliant. It's great to be able to get good and unusual French products on line. The delivery process was, on this occasion, a nightmare. The Carrier needs to be sorted out. The staff at French Cliick were very helpful but the communication protocols between them and UK Mail are at best inefficient and, at worst, hopeless. A failure with a delivery system sadly makes the whole process less attractive, no matter how good the product.”

Hi Sorry about your poor delivery experience. Unfortunately our delivery companies have been having more problems than normal. This is because of Christmas package volume and some unexpected traffic disruption earlier in the week which has caused a backlog in certain areas. Thanks Matthew French Click
