The quality of the Christmas food was top notch alongside the regular orders. I wasn’t a fan of the gingerbread spiced pork but the pigs in blankets and beef in port were excellent.

Brilliant service normally but saddened that the last delivery chose to leave my box behind my rubbish bins that is surely not right?

The quality of the food is very good. However the short sell-by-dates leave us struggling to eat the food in time.

Hi Rosemary, great to hear you are enjoying the quality of our products. All our products are sourced fresh to order, and you may see that the shelf life is shorter than products you may buy in the supermarket, however this is because we do not gas flush any of our products to extend their shelf life or wet age the meat in water and salts, like many supermarkets do. Here are our typical use by dates, which may help you meal planning for any future deliveries :) Beef - 5 days from delivery Lamb/mutton - 5 days from delivery Pork & Ham - 5 days from delivery Chicken - 3/4 days from delivery Duck - 3/4 days from delivery Fish - 2 days from delivery Bacon - 7-8 days from delivery I hope this helps, but do let us know if you need anything further, Best wishes, Anna

I am disappointed with the very short use by dates on the produce. I also don't like the silver plastic packaging that the produce comes delivered in. I have pushed back my next delivery to 20 November whilst I consider whether to continue

On the whole we've been delighted with the quality of the items we've bought from Field & Flower-the cheese is amazing, the pasties are wonderful and the fish very fresh. My husband does not eat meat so we started buying from field & flower during lockdown as we had no good source for fish. We've not wanted to return to our original source (M & S) for fish or the other things we buy now from f&f because we like the quality better. We have had some wobbles with orders not being complete or items arriving in not perfect condition but field& flower have always cheerfully refunded us for any issues we've had.

Since lockdown, this company has delivered on quality of product, customer service and delivery. More 3 for 12s though please and ‘family packs’ that can be eaten fresh or frozen. Vegetable patties very welcome. Love the sous vide and the burgers, cheese. Some Rilette perhaps? And cooking instructions with the less well known cuts of meat, please. Thanks, Gayle Sullivan

The quality of the food is excellent, and staff are always very helpful regarding questions and problems. The only negative point is the use of outsourced couriers who on two occasions have delivered to the wrong place.

Our own drivers cover South London postcodes and surrounding areas. Firstly, the quality of the meat and other produce is generally very high. No complaints. Also, the way you managed to keep the quality and deliveries going through lockdown was great and really improved our quality of life. My gripes are around the consistency of delivery and how the system works. On a number of occasions I have had missing items that I’d have had to notify you about for a refund. Further, it is frustrating and disappointing when there are late substitutions with no notice. Given the order is made and the money taken 5 days in advance, it is always disappointing not to get the products ordered. Perhaps payment should be taken after delivery is made so the whole refund and replace fuss is avoided. To end on a positive, I have and will continue to recommend F&F to friends and family - please keep up the good work. Chris

Hi Chris, Thank you for your feedback, we do take all comments on board, so appreciate you taking the time to let us know your thoughts. Great to hear you are enjoying everything so far. I'm so sorry to hear you have been substituted on a couple of occasions. We are under huge time constraints currently working with our farmers and our butchery packing up your orders. The time from the butchery receiving your order and packaging it up, to the time it is out for delivery is minimal. We are informed from our butchery of any unavailability of products as soon as they can get it over to us, however due to the high volumes at the moment, this is usually once the box has been dispatched from our operations. They will always try their best to substitute an item where possible, but if this is not possible we will offer a refund for the missing item, and this would take 3-5 working days to process. We are always looking at ways to improve our service, so appreciate you feeding this back and we will work hard to make changes to this where we can. When Lockdown happened I was desperate to acquire food and drink while avoiding the supermarkets (full of ravening beasts at the time) and I remembered Field & Flower. 5 months later my bi-weekly deliveries have provided us with the best meat, fish and deli foods. On occasion I try the pies but I must have the beef cuts every time. The Duck and Chicken are top class. Lamb joints are first rate. If you sold eggs and fresh baked goods too, you would have the perfect company. Rainbow Trout filets is on tonights menu with T-bone on Saturday!

I have been using field and flower for over a year now after signing up at a food festival. Their products are slightly more expensive than supermarket but much better quality and we enjoy choosing as a family what to have each month. I have had a couple of delivery issues/missing items which were always dealt with straight away. Their customer service is excellent. I would recommend without hesitation! Great service and top quality!

I am usually very pleased with all my deliveries. They are exceptionally tidy and easy to stock. Products are good and enjoyable. I can put down a few things that could make the experience even better. First thing, make the website work better on all devices, because-at least on the phone- it’s a bit tricky to browse and not super easy. Then, use less plastic in your packaging. Lastly, even if I usually like your delis, I have noticed the marinades are all loaded with garlic. Maybe you can find a nice marinade but garlic free? That’s all from me

Food and delivery arrangements are very good. However I do prefer when Field and Flower use their own driver as they deliver early in the morning so can unpack before breakfast! I also like their packaging Which can returned but not during coronavirus.

We are enjoying our boxes and whilst the price is higher than supermarkets, the quality is excellent and therefore in our opinion worth it. Mi like being able to change what goes on each time.

I love the produce from F&F and the range you stock. The quality is fantastic and a pleasure to cook with and eat. My only criticism is I don’t find the website that easy and the fact that the basket is automatically filled with the previous order. This is a bit annoying as I’ve ended up having orders I didn’t want if I haven’t saved/updated correctly. Would prefer to be able to start from scratch.
