Everything arrived on date expected. Well packaged. Meat/trimmings were okay. Turkey was pretty bland tbh. Was first time trying a joint and I personally willnot bother buying this again as prefer on the bone for more flavour. Nobody was impressed with the bacon and pigs in blankets. First time that most of Christmas dinner remained on plates. All in all... meh! I have since cancelled Field and Flower subscription as feel quality is no different to items I can acess locally - in fact often lower in my experience. it's a no from us

I had such high hopes for my Christmas delivery but unfortunately I was really disappointed. The porchetta was a real let down, I expected there to be fat but this was mostly fat with only a small amount of meat. The stuffing in the porchetta and the stuffing balls was not particularly good and the pate was extremely dry. On a positive note, the cheeses, crackers and chutneys were delicious. Such a shame but I would be reluctant to purchase from Field and Flower again

Don’t trust those freebie timers you get with the turkey- I took it out as soon as it popped (about 45 mins before the field and flower recipe said to take it out) and it was overcooked. Gutted. Other than that the meat was good quality as usual.

I was impressed with the plentiful delivery times for Christmas but underwhelmed with the products. Aside from the glazed ham. The chicken was tiny despite the weight.

I’ve ordered from Field & Flower a number of times over the year, usually with great success. The communication is good and so are their products usually. Sadly, I wasn’t impressed by the Whole Goose.

The turkey joint that we had delivered was absolutely delicious and worth 5 stars!! Could not fault it at all and made for a beautiful Christmas lunch!! The pigs in blankets on the other hand were vile, as soon as opening the delivery box the bacon was green that was wrapped around the sausages and clearly not fresh at all. We cooked them hoping it was just the colouring, but upon taking one bite knew there was something not right at all and binned all of them!! That was extremely disappointing and won’t be using Field and Flower again.

Everything was completely thawed by the time I received it.

Normally very pleased with my christmas order - everything was very good apart from the Ham which we were very disappointed with - it was very gristly and so full of very large veins it was impossible to get a decent slice - it also had very little flavour

The products are good quality but I really don’t like the subscription ordering system - I’ve actually gone to cancel a few times, busy haven’t in the end as the products are good and the ethos admirable. However, I don’t like having to keep over £40 of products in my basket in order to save it. It’s actually stressful as you message me all the time with marketing emails but only seem to message just before delivery when it’s time for my next order and this doesn’t always give me enough time to sort it out, meaning I get last times’s box delivered again. I would much prefer it if I could come off the subscription and just order what I want, when I want. I do appreciate your ethos but I’m not keen on boxes randomly arriving full of stuff I don’t want. I just want to be able to save an empty box please. And then If the box is empty, to not have a delivery that time, you know?

Hi Sarah, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback regarding our products and subscription ordering system. We appreciate your kind words and understand that our current subscription model may not meet all of your expectations, and we apologise for any frustration it has caused. The minimum spend requirement is in effect to ensure that we can offer our products at competitive prices and cover the costs associated with processing and delivering orders. By setting a minimum spend, we can maintain the quality and value of our products. In response to your request to save an empty box and avoid unwanted deliveries, customer service would be more than happy to assist with a frequency change. Please feel free to give us a call any time, as we can run through your account settings with you. If there is anything else we can assist you with or if you have any additional suggestions, please feel free to let us know. We are here to help and ensure that your experience with us is positive. The meat was good in taste, as usual, however the chicken I bought was listed as sufficient for 5-6. There was no ways the chicken I was sent could have, 3 possibly, 4 at a push.

Been getting deli, cheese and meat items from Field and Flower for a long time now (over two years). I prefer to support independent retailers so have stuck with them, but the quality of the food can be hit-and-miss. Have had to cut down on pork as it tastes very "piggy" (long strongly of the male pig, which isn't a pleasant taste). Sometimes the whole chickens are very sinewy and not as tasty as from our local butcher. Recently I ordered an unsmoked gammon for Christmas which was meant to feed 4-6 people but it was laughably tiny: about a third of the size of the one in the photo on their website. Photo shows it next to an espresso cup, it wasn't much bigger out of the packaging vs the photo of what we were expecting.

I order the porchetta for Christmas. It was OK, not the same as last year, though. Too much fat (and I don't mind some fat) and too much stuffing and I didn't like the taste of it.

The website regularly doesn't save my selection and resets to my previous selections. Errors occur which is highly frustrating after spending 15-30 mins choosing my box. Selection on offer has reduced over the last 12 months dramatically....duck breasts, crab meat (which first dropped in weight), fish pie mix have all disappeared. Highly likely to cancel my subscription in the next couple of months. Real shame

I'm in love with your pork and fennel sausages and very much enjoying access to the Black Label products. However, one or two things have missed the mark, most notably a beef wellington which arrived with soggy pastry and collapsed in the oven, causing the meat to dry out. Yesterday I tried to take advantage of a £15 off deal and, despite ordering only from your barbecue selection, could not make the code work and so eventually gave up.

I'm generally happy with the quality of the produce but the website often gets into a bit of a pickle and doesn't save my selections. (It's also basically unusable on mobile.) Also I'd buy more stuff if the prices were slightly lower. I'm in the north west and Field&Flower feels like paying London prices.

Mince is always good. Not happy with the chicken, it really smells and have had to throw out a number of deliveries as its not chilled. Salmon goes out of dates after 2 daye which isn't long enough.

Hi Dawn, I'm so sorry to hear you have not been happy with a couple of the items you have received. Our products can have a slight bloom when opened due to them being vacuum packaged, but any odour should dissipate after 10minutes once left to air on a plate. This is because we do not gas-flush them to extend their shelf-life, like many supermarkets do. A 2 day use by on our fish is our standard use by date as everything is fresh for your order. All our products can be frozen however if you did want to keep hold of it for a bit longer and it won't affect the quality of the produce. If you wanted to drop me a message with your account details to hello@fieldandflower.co.uk, I can certainly reimburse you for the products that you have had to throw out and do accept our apologies again for the inconvenience this has caused. Best wishes, Anna

I love your boxes but I have to say was grievously disappointed by the so-called 'three-bird roast'. For a start it was only 2 birds! It was cheap turkey and farmed duck in a very unappetising cheap plastic net. I'm a good cook but even I couldn't save it. Very poor quality and I certainly won't be ordering it again for the main Christmas meal. Sorry!
