“Deliveries are always really high-quality & everything arrives nice and cold and carefully packed. I love the fact it is all fresh too, meaning you can put any of it in the freezer, perfect for meal planning!”

“We eat less meat now, but knowing that the animals have been well cared for, and killed as humanely as possible makes all the difference. You are on the ball as to what people want, while giving us the old-fashioned individual touch that has disappeared from all too many other places. Keep up the good work!”

“It is fantastic to have 'real' meat again after a few years without a 'proper' butcher. I am working my way through all our old favourites and also trying new things. Everything has been superb. Chicken tasting of chicken, beef of beef, lamb of lamb. We could taste the quality of the mince even through a hefty dose of chilli! Pigs cheeks, vaguely following Nigel Slater's receipe, was a real find. Prompt, helpful staff. Wish I had come to you years ago!!!”

“All the different meats we ordered in our first box tasted great, so much more flavour than from the supermarket-we tried chicken, pork and beef. The cider chorizo is so tasty and the bacon was delicious. Delivery was on time and the box was left in our designated space with a photo sent to my email to show it had been delivered. Everything was well packed with ice. We will definitely be ordering again!”

“I have really enjoyed the quality of the beef and pork I have bought from you. I have tried a couple of new things like chicken and leek sausages? Didn’t like those🥴 other customers may enjoy them. Your service and customer relations is excellent. There has only been one disappointment for me and that was the turkey breast roll at Christmas, it was very tough👎🏻 I like the recipes you provide and rate your company as first class”

“We have been very happy customers of Field and Flowers for nearly 3 years, and we have been very pleased with our orders. The quality of the meat is excellent. The chickens are plump, juicy and meaty. You put them in the oven and they come out the same size as they went in, and you get giblets! They are genuinely far superior to the chickens you get at the supermarket (including the organic free range!). The pork is lovely, and we recently decided to add the dry cured bacon to every delivey. In comparison, even the 'finest' bacon from the supermarket is simply not in the same league. The bacon we purchase from Field and Flower has only a tiny amount of waste, in comparison with the fat we cut off the bacon we buy from the supermarket (which makes it a false economy), plus the welfare standards from the supermarket are now in doubt. The rashers are also a perfect thickness, and they don't shrink horribly, unlike the supermarket bacon. We enjoy the lamb shank and the joints of beef are lovely, and I definitely recommend the sous vide meats, which provide perfectly spiced and seasoned, tender cooked meats that are ready in a jiffy and taste fabulous (must mention the harrissa pulled pork and lemon half cooked chicken!). Then there is the marinated meats (lemon, chilli chicken strips are in every order for us!). As for Christmas there is always something special on offer, and the same for Easter. There are plenty of offers, such as 3 for £12 deals on various items. I always take advantage of some of these. For example, the 3 for £12 on chicken pieces is great value. I can portion up all the chicken, and divide it out for risottos, pies, stir fry, casserole, wraps etc. This helps the meat go a long way. (That said, even their very smallest whole chicken feeds my husband and I for 3 meals (we could even make it last 4 if two of them were stir fries) plus stock, and a feast for Mr Fox with the carcass and giblets). Amazing value! Many of these meats are a similar price to what you would get at the supermarket if you try to buy their equivalent, but supermarket quality always falls short in our view, and is often a false economy, not to mention the welfare standards. In addition, I would rather be absolutely sure our farmers are paid a fair price, instead of being hammered by supermarkets in 'race to the bottom and don't care how we get there' price wars. I firmly believe we need to concern ourselves with food security in Britain, and that means being fair to farmers! In summary, very pleased with Field and Flower!”

“I really really love all of the products we’ve tried from Field & Flower the piri piri chicken wings are a family favourite and we really enjoyed a shoulder of pork tonight. I think I’ve had about 9 boxes so far and have converted my aunt to from supermarket to F&F chicken and ham. The only reason I’ve not given 5 stars is because I find the website a bit clunky and it won’t always do what I want.”

“I cannot get meat from the supermarket any more the quality is poor compared to my field and flower delivery. I have tried a wide range of meat, game and poultry and everything has been excellent. The chicken breasts and thighs are superb, the taste is amazing and it has made me realise that all supermarket chicken must already be chlorinated as the smell from the field and flower chicken is pungent when opened but tastes out of this world, plus f & f give generous portions compared to the supermarket. Other exceptional cuts we’ve tried are, pork tenderloin, sirloin joint, pheasant and duck, noisettes of lamb and every pork or lamb joint we’ve had along with the black pudding is top drawer. All in all superb quality at excellent prices all delivered to my door. Cannot fault.... only wished I’d found them years ago.”

“I have been using Field & Flower as my only source for meat and poultry for a couple years now. The quality is always the best, not a single bad delivery or item. The taste of everything I have ordered so far has been unrivalled even by the most expensive stuff you can find in supermarkets. “Great food! The charcuterie board went down a storm as a starter to our Christmas meal, as did the smoked fish platter which we ate on Boxing Day. We,ve had the Hake fillets three times so far and another two fillets will be arriving in our February box. Lovely fresh fish which we serve witha white bean cassoulet. Love the wide variety of foods available for selection.”
