Meat is delicious and delivery exemplary however concerned that absolutely none of the packaging used for the meat (beyond the box it is delivered in) is recyclable.

Hi Steph, thank you for your great review. The box, silver liner and ice are all recyclable (as long as they are dry), and can go through general recycling. Excellent service. Previous issues with delivery now all sorted and very happy with the ability to choose multiple locations for our deliveries. The team can not be praised enough for their excellent customer service. Thank you to willow and Charlotte!

My kids love the burgers - they now use it as the bench mark to a good burger! Just had the duck breasts in Hoisin sauce - fast food! So quick yet so delicious. 20 mins job done, new pototoes and broccoli made it a simple healthy meal. I will be trying more adventurous options in the coming weeks.

The meat is good quality and tastes delicious. Getting it delivered is an added bonus. I’d like to see more options for different cuts, recently I was looking for cannon of lamb and lean lamb leg.. the quality of the fish isn’t as good as the meat in my opinion.

I think the quality of the meat is excellent and the delivery service is very efficient! On the one occasion where things didn’t go to plan with my order I was contacted proactively by the F&F team.......very good customer service There are three of us in my family so I would like to see the option to buy individual items such as chicken breasts as at the moment I need to buy 4 to cater for 3 people

We love receiving our meat boxes. The meat and food is such good quality. The pies are delicious. The dates are always really good and varied. The customer service is also excellent. My only improvement suggestion would be the packaging, the cardboard box is recyclable but the foam trays used in some of the products are not, and I'm not sure about the plastic. If there is any way of reducing the packaging, that would be fantastic, and perhaps reusing the boxes? 5 out of 5 for the food, but had to go with 4 out of 5 overall as I really don't like contributing to landfill. Cheese is also delicious! Would be interested in trying some organic meat if you consider that in the future. 😀

At the moment unfortunately we can't have boxes returned but we are trying to ensure we can recycle as much of our packaging as possible and are looking for alternatives for the trays. Mostly good quality meat and fish, quite expensive so have to choose carefully but it’s worth it for the quality and sustainability factor.

Very good quality of the meat, products always as expected. Just disappointed that since deliveries have been transferred to a transport company, the meat has sometimes arrived with the ice packs completely melted, which is a concern, and also the transport company won;t take the packaging back, which generates a lot of waste, and is leading me to question the environmental impact of having my meat dellivered.

The silver liners and ice packs are designed to keep your box at a safe temperature for up to 24 hours and although the ice packs melt they should still keep the meat at a safe temperature. If you ever have any concerns though please do let us know. The box, silver liner and ice are all recyclable and can go through general recycling. We love getting our meat more direct from farmers, it is such good quality and encourages us to try new things too. Recently had the mutton steaks which we would highly recommend! (My 2 yr old ate his share as well as mine) The new pricing is also good and clearer as to what things cost.

I like getting my meat and fish supplies from Field & Flower and supporting British farmers. It is better now that the products are priced rather than using the points system as that made the order confusing and harder to make an informed decision. I know that the products are more expensive, but am happy to pay more for the quality cuts or items that have added value, like a marinade. I also like the flexibility over changes to delivery if I am not ready for the next box or I am on holiday, for example. The e-mail reminders for last minute changes is very useful too. Delivery is always on time and products remain chilled - even in this hot weather! Thanks.

Great service if you like to source sustainable 'field to fork' British meat. Always a timely delivery, well packed and offering new recipe ideas for inspiration. Flexible regarding date changes, pauses and size of order. We eat less meat, but of a better quality (and conscience) as a result.

I m very happy with your meat and service and the fact that it is organic and traceable with high welfare standards . I would like to know how the animals are managed before slaughter and that this is done locally and they do not travel long distances . I find the website tricky to postpone a delivery and would like a skip facility . Otherwise it is very reliable , good quality and wel l priced . It would be good if the boxes were recyclable .

I'm sorry you have been finding the website tricky, to skip a box the best way is to go to Manage Subscription and use the Holiday facility which lets you move on an order for up to 2 months. Do get in touch with us at Customer Service if you ever need a hand with this. All our meat is slaughtered using traditional British methods and we try to ensure minimal traveling distance to the abattoir to ensure stress levels of the animals are kept minimal.
