“What a treat to buy from a company who delivers on its promises. My only reservation was that I chose wrong with the turkey breast, it seemed to have a great deal of "fat" - which I was not expecting with turkey. Also it really only did a couple of double servings for my husband and myself. The flavour was lovely, but the turkey was my only disappointment, everything else was superb. However I am unlikely to go for the turkey breast again.”

“The turkey, bacon and patties were very good - we enjoyed them immensely. The stuffing and pigs in blankets less so. They were soggy and didn’t taste great. The sauce was good too.”

“Very good though it would be helpful if labeling was clearer in terms of portion sizes. Not being able to see the actual product you are buying, only the weight, means you can be short. Oxtail is a good example., It's actually very small and you need more to feed a family”

“Hi The food was gorgeous. All meat tasty and good size. The pate was sadly dated to use same day which we didnt see until a day later so we didnt eat. A longer use by day needed as we had to dispose of it. Other than that we were very happy with the order.. thanks”

“I ordered and received a three bird roast, large rib roast, pigs in blankets and stuffing balls. Overall I’d say the order/products received were very good with some excellent and some ok to draw that conclusion. Three Bird Roast: Excellent; cooked exactly to the guidelines and comfortably fed four with lots of left overs too. Great taste throughout. Rib Roast: Utterly superb, the taste was unreal, the fat layer perfect, if I could afford this every week I’d die happy... Worth every penny and more! Pigs in Blankets: Ok, nothing special and not one I’d recommend. By equal measure I wouldn’t suggest these are avoided either. Just a bit underwhelming. Stuffing balls: Not great at all, overly moist and dense; this sadly I would suggest avoiding.”

“The three bird roast was really excellent. It had a lovely flavour. The ham was very tasty, but the fat did not melt in the mouth, which was a bit of a disappointment but probably saved a few inches on the hips.”

“The fish delivered is just excellent! We had a few orders and all were very quality. With the meat orders, it’s been good but we had a 3 issues with the rumps steaks. One came with very large fat and we received a kind refund from Field & Flowers. Then the last 2 orders of rumps were very tough meat cut, to the point of being difficult to eat. Apart from the rump, it is overall a very good and fresh meat and fish online. One of my favourites!”

“We really enjoyed the three in one joint tasty and succulent providing generous portions. The stuffing ball were tasty but we found the pigs in blankets very disappointing as the sausages were tasteless. The delivery and packaging were excellent.”

“Lovely products - but quite expensive so not something I would consider all year round. The delivery turned up when they said it would and everything was packed securely although the dampness of the defrosting ice packs caused the card around the pies etc to become damaged. It was bought as a present so I can't comment on the individual items (although the recipients said they were all delicious). It would have helped to have known the 'Use By' dates before ordering as we nearly got caught out - some items had to be consumed by 24th December. Overall, a great idea (what's not to like about supporting local farmers / producers) but maybe lacking a little in its execution and communication.”

“Excellent service, really good product. Would get 5 but the beef sirloin wasn't quite as good as beef I ordered from here previously. All the other products were spot on and the beef was still very good”

“Good service that managed to deliver on time despite all the difficulties. All very good quality produce - only problem was with the gammon. We drew the short straw and ended up with an end piece that fell apart during cooking.”

“Lovely fresh produce, delicious tastes, reliable no stress delivery - made Christmas so much easier. The nicest gammon we have ever had at Christmas bar none!! Pigs in blankets, and bacon black pudding all delicious. Cheese was in perfect condition, and greedily eaten throughout Christmas. Mini ham was only slight disappointment as it was too salty.”

“We've been members of Field & Flower for almost a year now (since the beginning of lockdown) & their service & supply of delicious, high quality meat has mostly been outstanding. Our last pre Christmas delivery failed to arrive though (it didn't leave the warehouse for some reason which was never properly explained & wouldn't then reach us until just before our Christmas order which threw our meal planning somewhat & made us anxious about getting our Christmas order (as shielded & at stuck at home). Anyway, our Christmas order was wonderful, with the most delicious, tender & moist bird we have actually ever had the pleasure to eat. Sausage rolls as I suggested to Ned (I think) are a very obvious omission from your seasonal list! Looking forward to sampling them along with another superb Turkey next Christmas!!! Thank you, Field & Flower.”
