“The turkey stuffed breast was very good - juicy, moist & with an excellent stuffing. It needed much less cooking than the time recommended! Sausages were fab, very enjoyable. Ham was good but frankly, just too salty. I trimmed and cut up the remains and used it in a casserole WITHOUT any salt and it was much better! Comms & delivery were perfect.”
“I ended up delivering the ham to my parents as they could not come to us for Christmas so can’t comment. We shared the most tasty pigs in blankets and stuffing balls - which unfortunately did not travel well and became merged but still tasted amazing. We loved the Boxing Day Charcuterie. Thank you for delivery on the day requested as still able to share even it not in person.”

“Re my Christmas order - I ordered rack of lamb for 2 people as it was my birthday on the 24th and this was absolutely delicious.
For Christmas Day I ordered the beetroot Gravadlax which was delicious but as it was a pack for 2 people I was expecting 4 slices, not 3, so it was slightly disappointing. Then I had the turkey Crown with pork and apricot stuffing. This was also slightly disappointing as there was not enough stuffing in the middle and way too much string on the outside which was quite difficult to remove before carving. We followed the cooking instructions given but it did turn out to be a little dry. More stuffing would have helped. Nice flavour though.

Thank you for your feedback and so great to hear you are enjoying everything you have tried so far.
Regarding the lead time, as we source all produce fresh to order, we have a 5 day lead time on our usual orders to allow our farmers to rear and source the produce which minimises food waste. We do order further in advance for Christmas products to ensure our small scale farmers can prepare for the busiest time of year :)

“We have really noticed the difference and the quality of meat is so much better than what we used to get from the supermarket. We really like the range of different meat and fish we can get. I was however a bit disappointed to find that the sausages and bacon have E numbers in them. I didn’t realise this and thought that all the meat was free from preservatives and additives. I’m sure there is a reason but I would have preferred that this was made clearer. I’d love a preservative and additive free option if one became available.”
