“Five stars for field and flower meat, we love it, so tasty and also so good to be able to go to one place where animal welfare is assured. Dropped a star because delivery lead time is long so sometimes (when we can’t plan that far ahead) we have to go elsewhere.”

Hi Lucy, Thank you for your feedback and so great to hear you are enjoying everything you have tried so far. Regarding the lead time, as we source all produce fresh to order, we have a 5 day lead time on our usual orders to allow our farmers to rear and source the produce which minimises food waste. We do order further in advance for Christmas products to ensure our small scale farmers can prepare for the busiest time of year :) Best wishes, Anna

“As always everything was very good and added enormously to the pleasure of our "no mixing" Christmas Day. In particular I would like to single out a few items for being exceptional! The smoked fish platter was delicious with a subtle but tasty smoke flavour, the sage and onion stuffing was outstanding in both flavour and texture and the pigs in blanket were very moreish. The cranberry topped pork pie looks truly beautiful and has improved presentation wise this year but the meat content needs more flavour...more premium Melton Mowbray "kick" would be welcome! Thank you for helping us enjoy Christmas so much under very unusual circumstances.”

“We were very pleased with our Christmas box, we were nervous about it arriving on Christmas Eve but we had no need to worry as it turned up and we had all of our meat for Christmas and more. Buy every month as the can't surpass the quality of the meat and fish.”

“I've been a customer of Field & Flower for over 2 years now but this is the first time I've found the time to write a review. Their meat is great (sadly - my kids won't eat burgers from anywhere else now.) The sirloin of beef / shoulders of lamb / mince / whole and filleted chicken etc. etc. are all great. Cheese etc. all good too. And, in times of confusion, there's a friendly voice and amazing service just a call away. Great business and great product. Thank you for helping us through the madness of the last year!!! ps The Festive products (Turkey and Ham) were spectacular too.”

“I’ve used Field and Flower for the last 4 years to provide my Christmas turkey and I would never consider getting a turkey from anyone else. Delivery is seamless and the turkey itself is succulent and delicious. The fact that’s it’s free range is very important to us too. Give them a go. You won’t be disappointed!”

“We ordered a selection of items from Field and Flower for our Christmas order - we were very pleased with them - the quality of the turkey joint, the bacon, sausage meat (for our own stuffing), the little sausages and the calvados ham were excellent. Love the cranberry orange port sauce too. A thoroughly enjoyable selection for our Christmas dinner. Thank you.”

“Before Christmas, I ordered a duck, some smoked salmon and some sausages. They arrived at the time on the day I had been told they woul; in good condition with much of the ice packs still well frozen. The duck was for two for Christmas dinner and was perfect. It was a delight to have a duck that was not an overgrown baby and with a solid breast bone, unlike those poor creatures from the supermarkets. It also had giblets which, for me, are a much prized bonus and I received a useful booklet of recipes too. The salmon was delicious, smoked if not grown on the Wye which was a good source of wonderful salmon when I lived in Gloucester in the 80s and the sausages were delicious! Thank you so much for supplying proper "happy" products and assuaging my guilty meat eater's conscience to some extent! I am hoping to order again soon”

“We had left our Christmas lunch shopping to the last minute as usual and all the local butchers were sold out. However inspiration struck and I remembered F&F from an Observer article. So glad I did remember as the duck, turkey and cheeses were outstanding and the whole process was seamless. Will definitely use again. 10 out of 10. Gareth from Cardiff”

“What more can so say, the delivery was at a perfect time, the Turkey was the perfect size / weight, and cooked to perfection, it was moist and delicious, and the bacon and pigs in blankets were perfect, looking forward to next Christmas and placing another order with yourselves, hopefully with the rest of our family in attendance which will require a larger order from us, I wouldn’t go anywhere else now, many thanks and wishing you continued success.”
