Still not received this item,I am thinking it’s due to Royal Mail strikes.

The presentation box that the item was in was damaged but because it was a Christmas gift I had no choice but to keep it. Product was fine but this was not a delivery issue more like someone being heavy handed when checking the item before dispatch. Bit disappointing.

Hi Julian, I'm so sorry to read this - I suspect that you might be correct and I am really sorry. We had additional staff in to cover the increase in orders over Christmas and whilst we try hard to make sure all our temporary staff take the same care with checking occasionally something slips through. Paid extra for DPD delivery, took longer than expected and arrived too late to give as a gift. Unable to call as number not covered. Don’t think I’ll use this company again.

Hi Andrew, unfortunately DPD were overwhelmed with parcels at Christmas and therefore reduced their daily capacity for a few days and this in turn delayed the delivery - I've refunded your delivery cost. Best wishes, Jude

Bought an engraved knife as a gift, which arrived with no engraving. Called several times but their telephone system is set up to divert you to voicemail at 5 mins so you could be a place 1 or 2 listening to the most irritating voice loop and then you lose your place, have to call back and you’re back to number 5+. Finally get through and they have no more stock. Offered a refund but only once I’ve returned this knife. Eye roll…. Absolute shocker

Placed order 2 weeks ago was expecting speedy delivery but still not arrived. Sent a email and was advised to email again later in the week but yet still no correspondence from them.

So sorry you've not received your order - with the strike action from Royal Mail happening on 25 November as well as 28 November, along with increased orders due to Black Friday, it seems the whole of the postal system has been impacted by this and significant delays have been seen, I hope that the parcel has since arrived. I ordered some of the Dominoes with custom engraving for a work colleague's retirement, I saw good reviews so placed the order. They arrived promptly however upon opening the engraved plaque was not centred or even straight. They refunded the engraving cost but does not explain how this passed the quality check.

I bought this manicure set as a special present for my daughter, although it came nicely wrapped and the case very good quality the contents were a disappointment. The clippers and nail scissors were good as described but the cuticle tools were plastic and very cheap and poor quality we have returned it.

Sent me a cracked handled taylors eye witness premier collection rams horn knife. They did respond to me with 'your welcome to return it'. But as I told them, it was for a gift and I have no time to be returning it. Plus I don't work for them, so not prepared to que, photo, pay etc.. On the other hand I have just received a call from Jamie and he has sorted it out and I am receiving a replacement and a printed returns slip. That's the normal procedure if you have a problem with your order and what I previously experienced was not how Farrar do things, and I believe him. So yes highly recommended. Thanks Jamie.

Really disappointed that a $200 pocket watch has a plastic cover over the face instead of glass. Even cheap watches come with crystal glass covers. I don’t recommend. Won’t be buying from here again.

Fast delivery however quality of product was poor, had lots of surface scratches I wouldn’t have expected. No time to return for another pair as was needed for a birthday present.

Product is fine but their website has the most annoying Cookies policy. It is almost impossible to refuse them. The demand that you accept them blights their website as you cannot look at the products without accepting their Pop-Up. It was so irritating that I went to Jacques instead. How difficult can it be for them to say “reject Cookies” - instead you have the options of “accept” or more information - more information does not include avoiding the Cookies. Dear F & T, I do not want my computer hijacked by your mandatory cookies - I will go elsewhere.

Lovely set looks really luxurious and at a good price. These were a gift for my husbands birthday, upon opening it he immediately noticed the imperfections on them as shown. They are tarnished at the tips. Disappointing that a present for my husband wasn’t perfect.

Sadly I was disappointed with both the quality of leather and very disappointed with the quality of lettering which cheapened the overall look.

It’s the first time I’ve used this company and was very disappointed the engraving on the glass was that tiny you needed a magnifying glass to see it. They refunded me the price of the engraving but it had already spoiled my husbands present from his children

Gardening gloves far too tight for M/L size. Elastic at wrist very tight. Imagine they might have been made in China. Feel not worth sending back and will unstitch elastic to see if more wearable for smaller hand. Burgon & Ball, purveyors of said gloves, said they could not help as they were sold through other separate outlet.

The product itself is all right however it was not what I ordered and as a result was really disappointing as it was an important gift, and specifically required engraving on the whisky decanter but the package arrived with no engraving. After phoning F&T, I was told I would receive a correctly engraved decanter the following day and would be given a label to return the unengraved one, but this did not happen - an engraved water jug arrived which thankfully was correctly engraved, and which whilst a free extra was not what I had ordered. I had carefully followed advice from Customer Service in terms of how to communicate the engraved wording to the factory (a completely separate entity / different location to Customer Service). Customer Service sound good on the phone but nothing they said was correct in terms of what was delivered and what actually happened. Like I say, really disappointing.
