We've had some great meat from Farmison & Co, but the lamb merguez sausages were much blander than expected. Hardy hot and spicy at all, surprisingly!

i bought a 4kg brisket for the bbq . The delivery was very good , on time and well packaged in a thermal box with ice packs . along with my package came an introductory code for my next order and a price reduction to introduce a friend .My brisket fell a bit short of the quality i expected ,the weight was well short by almost a kilo and there was very little fat left as it had been trimmed too far back . all in all i felt a bit let down .i did look forward to buying more produce that i had seen that not many companies do like the 100 day aged steaks and pork butt but im edging away now

All was nice, but I was excited waiting for the "sweet chorizo" to cook it with sider (spanish style) but I coudnt eat them... Ot was the most hot spice chorizo I never tryed in my life I cryed and I coudnt eat them...

Great products. My only frustration is that not all products in my order was available at the last minute, over a weekend, and I still had to pay the full expedited delivery fee.

Meat looked beautiful and I believe cooked perfectly 1.2kg cooked for 55 minutes and taste was Okay… genuinely though it was going to outstanding.. it wasn’t..🤷‍♂️

I ordered the Barnsley chops, the meat was lovely but I found the price was far too expensive, nearly £6 per chop is not attractive to me,quality was excellent.

Chicken very tasty. 60day aged steak not worth the money, expected to be melt in mouth but meat tough and fat not edible.

Chicken breasts were a lot larger than expected for birds raised free range. Sirloin steaks were really tender - even raw, you could tear them apart by stretching them a little - however, they were very thin cuts

used Farmison for a number of years now along with other online butchers, seemingly every 2 out of 3 orders are okay , often receive the news after i have ordered items that are in stock they are then out of stock when it comes to deliver (usually when too late to cancel order/shipping dispatched) - also find more often than not certain items very seldom in stock. have been through this scenario with them a number of times so it is not a one off... at least this time i have not had to chase for a refund as it was prompted by them.

Burgers were average. Texture was rubbery. Was expecting something really special. Tomahawk steak was nice with some nice marbelling but at £40 for a single steak, really thought that was going to be something special too - but it didnt hit the mark for me.

Hi there, We have had your sausages and burgers up to now and they were both very good. The lamb shoulder was very tender but with quite a lot of membranes and fat too. The bacon was very disappointing because it is far too salty. Unhealthily salty. I will not be buying your bacon again.

The meat itself was lovely however I'd ordered the same cut from two different breeds (in this case rump from shorthorn and white park). I'd chosen to buy from Farmison specifically because of the opportunity to buy and compare the taste of different breeds. I got an email saying that the shorthorn had been substituted for a heritage breed, which was a bit disappointing but not overly so, however when the box arrived it transpired both breeds had been substituted for the same thing (Hereford). It was disappointing to have ordered two different and unusual breeds and instead receive four steaks of the same common beef breed. Even if both had been switched it would have been less disappointing to have received two differing beef breeds e.g. Hereford and Aberdeen Angus, though I appreciate that may not have been possible. It threw a spanner in the works as I'd been planning a meal with the breed comparison as the centrepiece.
