The meat was very nice but nowhere near enough for 2 people which disappointed me after paying so much money

I wasn't very pleased as they told me once the order was sent that an item wasn't in stock, they didn't offer a different product instead or anything and it was a gift to my family as I live in Sweden. Both of the recipients received a delivery note with the item still on that was out of stock too and they were looking everywhere for it so I had to tell them about it and it felt like the gift was incomplete and they couldn't enjoy the meals I had planned them too. Also I still haven't received a refund for the out of stock items and this was 13 days ago now. Such a shame because the products look lovely and I've had good experience in the past but this time the customer service left me feeling let down.

The meat is definitely high quality - particularly pleased with the beef cheeks. However it is very expensive and I don’t think the value is good vs other quality butchers. The corned beef was especially over-priced - £8 for a tiny morcel that according to the recipe on the website is enough for a meal for 4!! The bacon was also very expensive for no noticeable benefit in taste or quality vs the premium products available locally.

Excellent service, fabulous packaging and on time delivery but let down by product quality. Leg roast of Tamworth Pork almost 50% fat to meat ratio. Made the item rather expensive and inferior to what’s available at local butchers. Such a shame.

The meat is certainly delicious, but the Free Range Chicken Cushion with citrus peel and herbs did not feed four - I'd say barely three actually. The Beef Wellington was delicious (very rich!), the mince was very good.

Food was delicious. It was such a shame not everything I ordered was delivered ruining my plans. In fact not only not delivered there was no option of a future date for delivery. I had to go to Amazon to get something inferior but with reliable quick delivery

Well packaged. Excellent black pudding, but disappointed by the texture and bland flavour of the sausages. Minced beef was good, and the Chicken Kiev were enormous, but not as much flavour as one would expect. I have yet to cook the lamb.

I ordered a box to fill my new freezer. The braising steak was very tasty. However I did order 2 lots of sausages under the buy 2 get 3. I did not get the 3rd packs. I have not had a reply to my emails on the subject. J Brookshaw

If online delivery is for you and you can order £40+ at a time then this is OK but obviously the price reflects the packaging and delivery costs.

The quality of meat is usually excellent from Farmisons. However I have once again been disappointed with the quality of the Tamworth pork chops. Farmisons very kindly reimbursed/replaced the last pork chops I received. I understand rare breeds such as Tamworth and Saddleback can be fattier and we've only eaten the Tamworth so far but the cooked results were very disappointing for the price.

Shorthorn Sirloin was a bit fatty and had lot of grizzle for the price paid but did have nice flavour, don’t normally buy sirloin but they had no fillet when back in stock will buy and try this

I ordered the beef Wellington for six and whilst the quality of the beef and the overall taste was fantastic, the pastry was cracked (pre-cooking) and fell apart further in the oven and on serving. It would also be a stretch to feed six.

Beef Wellington was nice! I opted for specified delivery date but unfortunately it DPD did not do a good job delivering on specified date but the company were very helpful and did their best to reassure me! Would purchase from them again

The turkey and bacon pie sadly lacked much inside apart from sauce - but pastry was nice The burgers we would recommend Waiting to have the steaks

Flat Iron excellent. Mutton good quality, but pieces too large and not practical to cut at home. Sirloin did not taste good due to blackening fat and has put me off eating steak.

The Bavette steaks were very tough, first I fried two them as recommended but the result was two very tough steaks, they did taste ok though. I slow braised the other four steaks for two hours this resulted in a more tender steak and tasted ok, I still have one braised steak left in the freezer with the braising juice, I will look forward to eating it shortly.
