“The saddle of lamb joint we had was tasty but very fatty. In fact we had to throw 50% away. I complained and we are now awaiting a replacement which is positive and professional.”

“Good meat undoubtedly; but why no offal? You proclaim your "nose-to-tail" policy, but important edible parts of your animals are excluded: livers, kidneys, hearts, sweetbreads, cheeks, tongues, etc. are all missing from your range. This means I have to go elsewhere for much of my meat requirements.”

“Hi, My name is Ian Miles and I recently made my second purchase from Farmison. Amongst this last purchase was a 1.5 kilo 32 day dry aged wing rib of beef which after cooking to medium using the meater probe was the best beef I have ever tasted. Amongst the other items were a pack of English breakfast sausages and your handmade black pudding. Unfortunately I have to say the breakfast sausages were not to our liking, they were totally bland and lacking in any consistency they tasted like paste squirted inside a sausage casing. I am also a big fan of Bury black puddings but again yours tasted totally bland and paste like. Sorry.”

“Ordered the prime rib, texture of beef was lovely and tasted generally fine however there was an unusual smell to the beef when opening the plastic packaging, thought nothing of it until i could still get notes of the smell and could taste slightly when eating.”

“Our most recent purchase of 4 sirloin steaks was rather disappointing. One pack was up to your usual excellent standard but the other one was mediocre. There was a lot of fat to be trimmed off and one steak was distinctly thin. The plumper one ate quite well. I wouldn’t have wanted to serve these two to our guests. I’ve previously recommended Farmison to friends and family but wouldn’t feel too confident now.”

“First time I've used Farmison. The food was delivered on time/ as expected and well packed although seemed excessive for size of my order - although noted you are seeking to become more recycling conscious. I love Merguez sausages and they are not easy to get except online; however the flavour was rather bland and could / should be much spicier. I may try other products but will look elsewhere for my taste of Morocco / France fix.”

“Farmison would of get a five star rating though DPD leaving it outside my front door in 25 degrees isn't cool ( they didnt even ring the door bell ) I have a Ringo so I know!”
