“The service was very good. But the three bird roast was not really 3 birds as there was far too much turkey compared to the other birds”

“The website and service were excellent but unfortunately the two rabbits we had were very tough. We had French relatives staying with us who had offered to make a rabbit casserole but it was most disappointing for them and for us.”

“Decent service but we weren't over impressed with the quality of the Chateaubriand. It certainly wasn't worth the money we paid for it compared to ones purchased from elsewhere in the past. Sorry.”

“Item arrived on time. Well packaged. We ordered a Rib of Beef. We know to always expect a fair amount of fat on a rib but sadly ours was extremely fatty and once cooked we struggled to feed 3 let alone 4 people due to the fat. We cooked the rib medium rare and would have expected far more flavour from the meat. We eat a lot of good quality beef from various sources so know what to expect. Overall it was a letdown which is sad as we were keen to start using Farmison regularly. Perhaps we just had bad luck with this one.”

“Bought Turkey for Christmas dinner along with two variations of bacon wrapped chipolatas... all were dated 25 December when it was delivered on 23rd. Not happy this time Farmison, normally the shelf life is a few days longer. Think I got lumbered with what was left”

“Excellent chicken, but the special Christmas porchetta was disappointing, flavour-wise. The black pudding stuffing was dreamy, but the pork itself was somewhat tasteless and not really consummate with what I'd paid for it.”

“I was impressed by the quality of meat, So much so decided to reorder rabbit was £5 each last week this week they had gone up to £6.99 each ? maybe this is down to brexit as wild rabbit need to eat more grass and would cost nearly £2 more to rear. So will not be reordering again.”

“My first order,for steaks, was very satisfactory. My next order was less so, the fillet medallions were short shipped and I had to telephone my complaint which took a while to resolve, and when the problem was eventually sorted the meat was just average! Of the three rib joints I have bought I have sampled just one joint so far and that was just average. I found the packaging and labelling to be very satisfactory.”

“Helpful staff and great website. Bought some aged steaks, quite expensive but looked good. We were a little disappointed as they were a bit tough although the flavour was there, be its the only thing we have tried so far so we won't let that put us off using them again.”

“Packaging was poor - labels had fallen off due to dampness and generally looked a mess. Was intended as a fathers day gift but I found myself apologising. I also don't think the quantity was great for the price paid. Quality over quantity I know, but even the quality was questionable on some items. I think this is the price you pay if ordering via groupon.”

“A delivery was delayed and there was no update at all. Had to waste time chase up the order and the delay affected my plans cooking for a gathering. Have now found some other online suppliers.”
