“Prompt delivery on the date requested. Fair price. As described and only a couple of damaged/chipped boards. Total job was 54sq m across 6 rooms. Be aware when calculating what you need that this was 34 packs bought with 10% contingency but still had four full boxes left -”

“Searched on line and FDF where the cheapest for the grade of flooring I wanted and had it in stock. Ordered on Sunday evening and delivered on Wednesday morning (the date I selected). Even had a call in the morning to confirm that someone would be in. Great service and the floorings looks fabulous down 11/10. Keep it up FDF”

“After buying the flooring from ‘Factory Direct Flooring’ and receiving a few samples which all looked great especially with the excellent customer service. On arrival the flooring didn’t actually click into place at all and moved after completing one room. I then spoke with floor fitters who told me that the item was useless. On contacting Factory Flooring Direct I was then met with abuse beyond words. By purchasing through PayPal I assumed that I was protected? wrong. You see, unless you can actually prove that the flooring is inadequate or wish for a refund you have to return the flooring yourself which will cost you in excess the cost of your flooring and it has to be delivered by a known courier, another thing that I wasn’t told. In my case I decided to get a friend to drive me ‘directly to’ Factory flooring direct’ to give them back the remaining boxes of flooring which was over 100 miles from my home. There was no returns department? I saw a lady in the hallway quite shocked that I was there to return the flooring. Their own laminate used in their building isn’t their own product either, a very plush hallway and carpeted stairway. Even with supplying PayPal with proof of delivery including photos and petrol costs. I did get a refund for the flooring for taking the remainder back. Leaving me about £300 out of pocket. Also, you certainly won’t be met with a smiling face or offered a cup of coffee, however far you have driven. It’s a cold and unwelcoming atmosphere. Where guys are then called to get the flooring from you. If you can afford it you can then stop on your way home to maybe buy a burger ( not something I usually eat) I advise honestly to really think this through before purchase. I’m now laying alternate flooring of a good quality ( quickstep ) yet have had to save again and spent Christmas and up until now trying to save money to complete my lounge. If you wish to waste your money and then have an enormous amount of stress while being insulted, then buy from this company. If you want good flooring that will actually not slide all over the place and come out of place immediately after fitting together. I’d suggest looking elsewhere. I can certainly see where the money goes on arrival at this place and it’s certainly not on its customers. All of the flooring I purchased I gave away and threw away and had to tell people who were collecting it that it doesn’t stay clicked together. It moves. ‘Factory Direct Flooring ‘ will insist that it is great yet will refuse to show you themselves how they lay their own flooring on an actual floor, instead a table top that is totally flat ? I clearly know why as aforementioned. My worst purchasing experience ever.”
