“Ordered from Factory Direct Flooring as they had whatI wanted in a 2m width. Ordered and given a delivery date. Received an e-mail saying that delivery delayed by 24 to 48 hours. Telephoned helpline on 2nd day of delay asking when I could expect delivery. Very helpful response saying he would find out and phone back. Received e-mail saying my order out of stock but suggesting substitute. Phoned to accept this but delivery was anotherr delay which I couldn't risk so cancelled for refund. Refund was very quick, Probably a good company to order from if I hadn't had time constraints.”

“Very bad quality flooring wore out in one year time . Contacted customer service and provided photos of wore out and chipped flooring but blamed on moisture issues even I don’t have any moisture in living room.”

“Paid £20 for delivery fee and chose a specific delivery date as I was within time constraints. Order did not arrive on chosen day, contacted customer service who were no help at all, said they couldn't track the order. Turned up 2 days later. Customer service were no help at all. Very disappointed.”

“Very easy to order online, very poor customer service and staff who are unhelpful, cancelled an order as they make it so hard to collect orders. We have now taken our business elsewhere and won't even look back at this company again. Rather than assistthe customer and give options they like to repeat their robotic policies.”

“This is my first and last time using this company. The after sales department has no understanding of what customer service means and the person I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with has ZERO SERVICE SKILLS and paid no due diligence providing inaccurate information. They charge you for specific shipping but use which ever, they flat out refused to chase my query with the courier, told me the courier provides wrong information as standard. I wish I could put screenshots on here as the service is that bad it’s pretty much unbelievable. Top and bottom, order not arrived they don’t want to do anything about it and the service is beyond shocking. I honestly done know how they have only got 3 stars unless this is one of those companies which has gone under and relaunched maybe”

“I don't normally write reviews but the quality of the customer service and of the product has inspired me! Phones were answered straight away and all queries effective resolved. We picked up the packages within a couple of hours of ordering and they were already ready. The floor itself was excellent quality and so easy to lay. It looks amazing and like a professional has done it ( which I am not...). I would highly recommend this company and their products.”

“Excellent service and product! First time I have laid a floor it all went to plan and looks great. The underlay was brilliant too. Had to phone for a couple of questions prior to my purchase and they answered straight away and were more than helpful. Highly recommended and will certainly use again in the future.”

“It's the first time we ordered from here and it will be the last.I think the customer service is very poor so if you have a problem beware.The planks in our herringbone pack should have been 7 of each,A and B.However there were 10 planks neither A or B.When I contacted them,they didn't believe me saying it had never happened before! And we had to send them back for inspection before they would send out another pack.Only to be told a week later that they were out of stock anyway.So we had to wait another week! Never again.”

“I had delivery for laminate flooring and underlay. laminate flooring some was damaged, have spoken to customer services very unhelpful and rude, he hang up the phone on me when i asked how to write review on your website. I wasted my money and i wish I did not buy from this company. Bad customer services after sales very unhelpful and rude staff.”

“Although the flooring we had order went out of stock and then the manufacturer stop producing it, Factory direct were very helpful with offering us and alternative or a refund, we opted for a refund and that was only down to not being able to find another flooring with them that was the colour we wanted. The refund was issued promptly. I would definitely look to buy from factory direct again in the future if we ever decide to replace our flooring as the service and communication was incredible.”
