Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Whilst not the most competitive, we had used Explorer for the previous years travel insurance and due to the death of my wife,s mother we had to cancel a planned holiday. Explorer handled the situation efficiently and we were able to rebook our holiday later in the year. So we thought it reasonable to use Explorer for next years travelling. I thought some of the Health Condition questions were a little to ambiguous/limiting with regards to planned future treatment.”

“Explorer Travel Insurance has a very good system of asking all the necessary health questions on line. The questions are comprehensive and easy to follow. Furthermore, the premiums are less expensive that many other wellknown insurers. admit I have not had occasion to make a claim...long may that situation continue!”

“Tried a few other Insurers over a number of years and Explorer has been the best for cover, cost, ease of application, excess facility available and coverage of medical conditions. Any small claim for short term throat infection was dealt with promptly and without fuss.”
