Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“At my age, (76) I find it difficult to get travel insurance at a reasonable price but Explorer ticks all my boxes and includes all my named medical conditions (extra). The inclusivity of its travel policy is comprehensive and prices are not outrageous. This is my second year with this company and I intend to ask for a quote each time I travel in Europe.”

“thankfully we’ve never had to claim on this insurance...we have bought from Explorer for the few years, we go to visit our family in Australia on a regular basis, we’d prefer to purchase a annual policy, however we are always away for more than 30 days plus my husband who has pre exsisting medical condition they die not seem to have a policy to suit those requirement. The single trip is more expensive, however Explorer are very competitive. Easy to purchase & the representive helpful on the phone . Let’s hope if we do ever need to claim we are happy with their response!”
