Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Medical Conditions, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“Insurance obtained, but due to variety of medical conditions, not easy to navigate on line facilities and questions. System kept crashing and then had to phone to finalise quotation.”

“Easy to deal with. But I had a flight to Australia with a 20 hour stopover in China. The policy didn’t cover that and you quoted a price that was double what you’d quoted.”

“I booked the insurance no problem but I have not received any confirmation of my policy either by post or email dispite a phone call to yourselves and being told apologies and an email would be sent. Bit disappointing”

“I was very dismayed that you appear ageist. Because my husband is now 67 you no longer offer ski insurance. I won’t renew next year. My experience tells me that younger people are more prone to ski accidents not elderly, if you are now cladding 67 as elderly. Very very disappointimg where the work force carry on into their 70,s but we discriminate in this way.. I would love to see the data that leads you to this decision.”

“Really disappointed that on compare the market just a week before my renewal the price was substantially lower than the renewal price you gave me. The operator’s attitude of ‘well go elsewhere then’ was not well received. We will look to packaged bank accounts before our next renewal date.”
