Explorer Travel Insurance has been trading since 2011 and specialises in great value Single Trip, Annual Multi Trip, Medical Conditions, Winter Sports, Cruise and Backpacker travel insurance.

Buy direct and choose from up to 5 levels of cover with the added peace of mind that all policies are underwritten by Allianz (the world's largest insurer) and include gadget and cruise cover as standard.

We are based in Westcliff on Sea, Essex and are very proud of the excellent levels of service we provide to our customers both online and by our friendly and professional sales advisors. We don't have a maximum age limit for single trip policies and can offer cover for customers with, or without, pre-existing medical conditions.

“We have been with Explorer travel for 3 years now with their EU policy but decided on an North America trip and needed to upgrade . The staff were helpful but the cost of us upgrading was too much, I didn't realise that the cover for America or Canada was so expensive. so instead we ended up with a single trip cover , still expensive but you can not cut corners with the cost of medical cover in these countries. We have decided that after this we will stick to EU counties. The staff were very good explaining the costs. Hopefully we will never have to use the insurance cover but the proof in the pudding will be if we ever have to make a claim.”

“I have been with Explorer for 3 years now. We are both pensioners with health problems, nothing other than age-related health issues. The price is reasonable, a lot less than many other insurance companies. We have never had any issues with them; they send you the insurance certificate and all other documents within 10 days. I have no problem recommending them to anybody looking for a reliable insurance company”
