“We did not have to wait too long for the plants which arrived in good condition. The standard was close to that of their real counterparts. Impressed with the quality. The only niggle was that delivery was to the pavement outside and not to our office within the building - for the large plants (8ft high), they were quite heavy and required our own manpower to move them from the pavement to our office on the 1st floor. Otherwise very pleased with the product.”

“Superb artificial bamboo plants. Really tall and bushy, and fooled a view visitors who thought they were real. My only criticism is that one of the pots arrived damaged (but we superglued it back together) and the trees really so stink when they're first opened. They're obviously stored for some time and also perhaps in a smelly place, so they smelt very damp, musty. They've settled a bit now having been out for about 2 weeks but we used a lot of air freshener and room spray. Otherwise, a very good and well priced product.”

Unfortunately our courier company charges a different rate for UK islands than mainland UK. We simply pass whatever the courier charges us onto our customers, we do not take any cuts from the delivery cost. I agree it is frustrating and we wish as much you do that the couriers charged the same as mainland UK but this issue is unfortunately out of our control. For smaller items we can send through the royal mail network which does not charge any extra for the Isle or weight. It is unfortunate that it was one of our larger items you required. We are sorry you had to cancel your order on this occasion. Let's hope in the future there is a way to transport goods to the Isle of Wight more economically. Kind Regards, Georgina

“The artificial hedges came on solid wooden frames that slotted into my window boxes very well. All measurements were accurate and the quality of the fake hedge was good (longer pieces than usual). My only complaint was that the top of the hedges looked a bit bald in paces, mostly where the hedging panels had been bent over the top edge. On the plus side, an extra piece of hedge matting had been sent with the delivery, so I cut up pieces to staple onto the frame.”

“Was initially wary of buying an artificial tree but was blown away by its quality. We struggled for a long time with a real tree but it was difficult as it was close to a radiator. The quality of the tree was surprisingly brilliant which was matched by the service we received.”

“We got the outdoor palm tree and are very happy, so happy that we bought a second one for full impact in our Moroccan inspired hot tub area. We will also buy the ferns to get all year interest in an area where you don't want any soil. Everyone has been very helpful and delivery was quicker than lightning! Highly recommended.”

“Our 5ft. fig tree arrived promptly and in good condition. It was very easy to follow the instructions and fix the pre-glued 'gravel' to the base of the trunk - just make sure you use some newspaper to protect your carpet! This really is a stunning tree in a lovely planter (we chose the medium Charcoal planter) and it attracts many admiring comments. It also looks very realistic with the real wood stems. Just one comment - the website seems to suggest that by putting it in a larger planter the overall height of the plant will increase. We didn't find this to be true, and would actually have chosen a bigger tree if we'd known. Would definitely recommend - we want another one!”

“I ordered 5 plants from Evergreen, with mixed results... The PROs: - The 'ARTIFICIAL SANSEVIERIA MOTHER IN LAWS TONGUE PLANT' was excellent, very lifelike and came potted so ready to display, I was really happy with this item The CONs: - Delivery was expensive, £10 for my 5 plants - One of my 5 plants was missing, when I queried this I was told it was very small and to look again (it definitely wasn't there!) - The three remaining plants were really not remotely lifelike, one was luminous green plastic and the two ferns I bought looked incredibly fake. The website describes them as "Made from polyester silk, the replica Boston fern has been crafted so perfectly that it gives the impression of a live plant. The resemblance between a real Boston fern and a faux fern is barely noticeable due to the attention to detail." - this is rubbish! - It was wasn't clear from the website that the three plants I didn't like came as a stalk - a full photo would've been helpful.”

“Appear to be a good quality product and hopefully UV resistant as stated. However, I bought two baskets at the same time, they turned up in one box with the bottom one flattened by the top one. Secondly, the hanging chains were underneath the baskets. I had to spend 15 minutes threading ivy and flowers through the chains to get them to the top pulling off several flowers on one basket in particular and then having to spend even more time searching for the stem off which they came. They look lovely, but the experience was not quite out of the box as stated and those with perhaps weaker eyesight or dexterity may struggle, just for the sake of putting the chains in the correct position in the first place.”
