Debbie provided the worst customer service experience I've ever come across. I had a faulty part on a brand new fridge and asked for a replacement part. None of her emails offered a solution, the warranty wouldn't cover it and it was too much trouble for her to order a new part from her supplier. I have never come across such unprofessional and unhelpful customer service. This was after the fridge arrived on its side which had damaged and broken all of the doors so we had to have another sent out, which also came on its side but was fortunately not damaged.

Very poor service, avoid this company at all costs. I was supplied with a faulty fridge which leaked (Prodis low profile bottle cooler). An unsuccessful repair was attempted. It was then replaced with another fridge which was supposed to be new but had several scratches on it and this appliance also leaked. Empire Supplies didn't care about the damage and said they don't believe two appliances can be faulty despite being provided with clear photographic evidence to the contrary. They have refused to do anything more about it and as they sell on a business to business contract basis I have no consumer rights even though I am not a business and bought this appliance for use in my own home. The customer service from this company is appalling and I would advise anyone not to purchase anything from them.

Avoid this company they are quick to take to your money but ignore you when theres a problem with the item... bought a drinks cooler after 4 weeks it stopped cooling the current temperature of the cooler is 22 degrees its warmer in the fridge than outside and i had to fill out a form online which j have still no call ive contacted consumer rights as the woman on the phone would not disguss the problem she is very rude even stated that my rights are differeny when buying from a commercial company than buying from a domestic company well i know my rights im now stuck with a fridge that doesnt work apparently im supposed to get a call from a manager to discuss the problem no call as yet my hubby as a birthday party this saturday with no drinks cooler what a rip off company pay a bit extra folks at least you will have peace of mind that you havent paid for scrap metal i will never buy from these again oh im taking this further!!!! Companys like this need exposing!!!

The standard of service I have received frommthis company, is sub standard at best, I ordered on the 21st of July, and given a delivery date of the 5th of August for 2 fridges, I phoned in the 16th of August to ask where the fridges where and was told they’d been delivered, but queried this only to be told it was a supplier fault, and that they would be delivered the following day, 1 was delivered, and it was damaged. I phoned again the following week to what can only be described as the grumpiest of sales people, who wouldn’t let me speak, or answer questions that where asked, deflecting at all times, basically calling me a liar that I had only 1 fridge delivered and that she couldn’t possibly refund any times, so 6 weeks after ordering a 10 day lead item, I have no items and no refund, with only a promise, one which I do not expect to be kept, to look into it. I even asked I would like to speak to a manager please. To be told you’ve no chance. I’ll just tell tell you this is the way it’s going and that’s it. Aye cheers Debbie.

GF4 Fryer - Would not recommend for commercial use at all! Despite it seeming flimsier that the usual free standing fryer it seemed to be ok, that was until it came to cleaning it! There is no room between the tank to reach the bottom, the hole that connects to the tunnel is ABOVE the bottom of the tank, therefore does not empty the remaining residue and oil! A cleaning rod comes with the fryer - which is essentially a long piece of metal, again you cant collect the residue as you cannot fit anything bar the rod in! I physically had to tip the fryer to completely empty it and at that i was still left with debris at the bottom! This was after 4/5 uses!!! Customer service was unhelpful and said because it has been used they wont refund, but i can email for advice?! I’ve worked with free standing fryers for over 34 years and never came across a fryer that you cannot fully clean! I’m now left with this until i can afford to buy a new one. I’m not someone to leave bad reviews on items but feel that businesses need to know this, as if i had seen a review about this i could have saved myself this hassle and purchased a fryer i can actually clean.

Beware! Great prices - just make sure you have definitely ordered the right item. Due to lack of dimensional details (and that is my fault for not asking before ordering) the item was unsuitable for my needs and I have to return it. This cost me over £50 in courier fees + a loss of another £40 due to "re-stocking fees". So £90 out of pocket. I'll stick to Amazon in the future.

The greenhouse table looked big in the picture but when it came was a small table and delivery was poor said they was delivering at a time and delivered before time but I wasn’t there. Said on the box £11.99 but I paid £67. Never again

Ordered 2 items from this company for next day delivery I explained that with regards to delivery it wasn’t possible to have someone available for the 10 hour slot given to me (8am-6pm) and I was asked to call at 9am on the morning of delivery for an estimated time as they would contact the delivery drivers I was very impressed at the ease of ordering and quality of service and specifically chose this company as they are fairly local to my business and wanted to use a local company during the coronavirus pandemic. I duly called the following morning only to be told that they don’t give out time slots and they can’t call the delivery company and offered no help at all, the lady then went on to blame her staff member for telling me to call on delivery day by saying she shouldn’t of told me this. I asked if maybe I put a note on the door to ask the driver to call me when they arrive as I only live 5 mins away but I was told they would not do this either. Now I completely understand that due to covid19 staffing levels are down and staff are having to work from home etc making it very challenging for businesses but I have learned during this crisis that it helps if you go above and beyond to help people with customer service and courtesy, none of which were afforded me when I called Empire. I would like to note though that I called APC delivery and they were extremely helpful, despite not having a consignment number and gave me an approximate delivery time for my items so thank you to them for going above and beyond to help us. Dreadful customer service from Empire and if we need catering equipment in the future we will go elsewhere

Purchased a hot cupboard from here and it only heats up from the middle shelf upwards. From the middle shelf downwards stays cold. Messaged the company straight away the weekend I received the item about the item being faulty but had no response. Called them twice and spoke to 2 different people who said I will receive a call back but still no response. Emailed them and still no response. Have gone through PayPal and emailed them and still no response so have disputed this through PAYPAL. Terrible customer service. Do not deal with this company. Disgraceful!

It wasn't delivered on the day it was supposed to. You then cancelled the order without our consent. You deducted 25% from the refund and you have not refunded the cost of the couplings.

Apologies for this. You requested a return which we have agreed to but we would have been more than happy to send you the valve that was missing next day. Kind regards, Debbie

I ordered a fridge seal. I was told it was on back order so I waited. I received it after 35 days. It didn't fit. I asked for a refund or a replacement but they stated that as I didn't get back to them within 28 days I couldn't have one. It would have been impossible for me to get back to them within 28 days as I didn't receive it until 35 days after the order. I am trying to get a refund via my bank. I'm going to stick with Nisbets in future.

Returned a display fridge, as it was the wrong one. A shelf had been cracked whilst unpacking it and we were advised that we would have to cover the cost of this and the cost of delivery to return it. We were informed that we would be refunded the difference. We were happy for this to happen. However, we have been waiting since May (after the fridge was returned) for the refund. We have emailed and rang several times, but have had no response. Really poor customer service. Considering we are a school and every penny matters, it's shocking!

We were extremely dissatisfied with our recent purchase from Empire Supplies. We ordered a commercial fridge to the value of over £700. The item was delivered by a pallet company (a day later than scheduled) who refused to stay until the item had been unpacked, and demanded that the item be signed for so they could leave. We asked for clarification at this point that we were ONLY signing for delivery and NOT signing that the item was in a satisfactory condition i.e. not damaged etc. The delivery driver confirmed that this was correct. Upon unpacking the item, after the courier had left, it transpired that it was very heavily damaged. We have attempted on many occasions to speak to someone at Empire Supplies regarding this. On the phone we were told that as we had signed for the item they would not consider any damage claim. Upon explanation of the delivery drivers confirmation that we were not signing for condition, only delivery, we were met with 'that's not our problem'. We then sent an email to Empire Supplies containing multiple pictures of the damage caused to the item. We were sent a very short reply to say they have forwarded the pictures to the courier for comment. That was almost two weeks ago and we are yet to hear any further. The customer service received by Empire Supplies was frankly disgusting and we will never use them for future purchases. If asked by anyone else whether to use Empire Supplies we would emphatically say definitely not!

Ordered a dehydrator on Monday. Phoned on Tuesday to check when it would be delivered and was told Wednesday. Had a despatch email Tuesday saying it had been despatched. It didn't arrive Wednesday so rang today (Thursday) to be told it isn't even in stock. The lady on the phone was very polite but I still consider it poor organisation when told the above on the phone and via email.. Now I have to wait for our money back 'as it can take the bank 3-5 working days to process the refund' So I'm without a dehydrator and without my money. NOT IMPRESSED
