Sadly there are at least a couple of really, really dodgy equipment suppliers out there BUT, Empire are without a doubt one of the most trustworthy, reliable and fair priced suppliers in the market. Emma Walker, a real superstar, no pushy sales, good solid advice, honest and efficient. She, along with her colleague Abbie, is the reason Empire will be my first call every time in the future. Real Stars!!

Samantha was sensational! I rang up very desperate requiring a commercial meat slicer for the following morning before 10am for a massive catering job that day (my meat slicer had come to the end of its life, perfect timing just before the biggest job of the year!) and Samantha pulled out all the stops to get to me by 9.30am the following day. Exceptional and reliable service.

I bought a commercial fridge and it came with scratches, when I made Empire supplies aware of this they offered me £40 off my order or I had to pay for the return of the fridge myself that would cost a lot of money. It’s been 3 months the fridge is leaking water and I am still under my first year warranty but when I call in Empire customer service they just advise me to keep the fridge shut and has not arranged for the fridge to be fixed despite me calling in numerous times. My fridge is being used by customers all day how can I keep the door shut, it defeats the purpose of being a commercial fridge. They are making excuses and waiting for my warranty to run out.

Thank you for your feedback. I’ve reviewed your Warranty Call Form and can see that troubleshooting guidance was sent regarding the water pooling issue. As this fridge was purchased with a Parts Only warranty, if the troubleshooting hasn’t resolved the problem, the next step would be for you to arrange an engineer to assess the unit and provide a report detailing any parts required which we'd then provide under warranrt Once we receive that report, we’re happy to assist with the warranty in line with the terms for your specific item. We genuinely want to help ensure your fridge is working as it should.
An utter pleasure using empire. I was kept informed of my order every step of the way, email, text and WhatsApp. Next day delivery and the guy who delivered it was polite and professional, even helped me to carry it in. I will not hesitate to recommend empire. First class service. This is how companies should be.

I had an issue with a recently purchased item that was failing and owing to our business premises only being open on certain days of the week, delivery of a part for the item was awkward. I spoke with Lauren who was very helpful and proactive in trying to find a solution and contacted me again to check on progress of the issues I was having. The engineer who came out to fix the unit was also excellent and having purchased equipment from Empire and also a supplier that sounds like Alexa I would now only deal with Empire as it is impossible to speak to anyone at the other company if you experience any issues which is incredibly frustrating.

Super quick and efficient responses to any emails especially from Emma who dealt with my query about delivery dates with great professionalism and kept me updated on my order. She's an asset to your team! Haven't had time to set up the bottle cooler yet but it arrived in good condition and looks like a great bit of kit for our new garden pub shed!

Purchased a prodis jet glass wash 6 months ago, the machine will not heat up so assume the element has gone.. Now been informed that we have to pay to have this replaced by engineer at £150 call out charge. Poor customer service... Consumer rights are none when purchasing via business. Please be careful

Thanks for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the issue with your glasswasher. The warranty on this model bought is parts only, meaning replacement parts are covered, but labour and call-out charges aren’t included.
Top customer service! One box of our saucers came smashed, I contacted customer services and Emma W replied within a matter of hours. She was really helpful and chased up with the suppliers to get a new box sent out, and she checked in to ensure the second delivery was all good. We know things can get damaged in transit, these things happen but Emma was quick to rectify the issue and a replacement came within a matter of days! Will continue to use Empire supplies for all our cafe needs :)

I put an enquiry in for what has been a hard part to get for a commercial freezer. Abbie who I dealt with me ( Customer services ) replied very promptly, sourced the part very quickly for me which had been hard to locate up to this point. Really good delivery from Chris V and Sal, who delivered and built my Cozmo sofa in Cornwall. They phoned 20 mins. ahead of time, and arrived when they said they would. Stress free delivery, would highly recommend! Excellent.

I was happy about my freezer but I it had a little scratch and when I sent an email to empire ltd Emma responded and assured me that everything was going to work perfectly and offered my a discount of 25£ back as a refund . Anyways the fridge is doing fine and I recommend there services

Complete waste of time! I have ordered an ice cream machine delivery was due on the 19th August 2025 a month later. Ring today 26th and found out the delivery of the item changed to 22nd September without even notifying us. They have said that they could easily cancel the order within minutes on the phone so they do not care about our wasted waiting time of more than a month! You judge yourself. On the next delivery day they may come up with end October delivery date. Can not trust or work with a company only care this much.

I got a Unox oven about 6 month ago and after the 4th month It broke down and since then I have to call twice a week for to fix it and I am still waiting,I paid almost 5 grand and know I have to spend 450 £ every week for bakes

I know this has now been resolved, as I personally dealt with the supplier and engineer myself after speaking with you on the phone since my colleague handling this was on annual leave at the time. I hope everything is working okay now and that the oven is performing as expected.
