“1. Excellent value. I couldn't make it for the price and pay myself a decent wage! Well packed and delivered in 48 hours. 2, Went together without any great difficulty. You've just got to take your time. Use of dowels for locating parts is very good and predrilled screw holes help a lot. 3. I've made 2 modifications: a. Fixed (with staple gun) pieces (5"X 6") of roofing felt between bars on ramp to help bantams get a grip with their feet. b. Screwed 2"X 1" battens along both sides of the base to stiffen the pen, especially when moving to a clean site on grass. I will probably fit lifting handles too. 4. Will give 1 or 2 further coats of preservative before exposing to the weather. (We live in west Wales!)”

“Easy ordering and fast response by supplier. Unfortunately, delivery agent didn't meet expectations - expected Tuesday, failed to deliver, rescheduled Friday, only one parcel of two arrived. Now awaiting rest of order, 1 week later... Packaging permitted parts to bump into each other, meaning small damages occurred, easily fixed on site but remediable by better packing.”

“Very nicely made, surprisingly high quality at this price. Instructions pretty easy to follow and with one exception all parts fitted. I had a problem with one of the roof panels that came with its hinges in the wrong place. I had to move the hinges and cut the little pad which the lid opening restraint attaches to. No great problem for me but took a while of trying to figure what I was doing wrong when actually the kit was wrong! Nevertheless, on balance we are VERY pleased we chose to buy this product. On the couple of occasions I phoned the firm they were very helpful on the phone. I think you can buy with confidence and I would definitely buy again.”

“I am happy overall with the hen house and run I ordered, it is very cute. Although it is a little smaller than I imagined for the price I would have liked a little more space in the run. However it was easy to put together and seems substantial with some great design features in the actual house section in terms of access and cleaning out the hens. I would like more information on how the extensions fit and look when attached. There are no recommendations or images when selecting accessories. I would like to order one but I am a little reluctant due to the price and not being able to see how they fit and look.”

“Delivery service was very good and prompt. I got a phone call after ordering to let me know when to expect it and, indeed, it came when it should. Chicken coop looks nice and comfortable for the chickens. I am a bit concerned about the quality of the wood, though. It does not look very strong - screwing some screws a bit too deep was already enough for it to crack in some places. I am not sure how long it is going to survive for.”

“Can't complain about order and delivery, very efficient. However, the product I am rather disappointed with, a fox proof chicken coop, for 6 chickens, I have bought this for one rabbit, it is much smaller than I would imagine 6 chickens need, let alone 1 rabbit! The fastenings are flimsy, the coop is not very robust and although I bought wheels to be able to move the coop regularly, unless you have a bowling green lawn, it does not travel smoothly over the ground and we have had to put extra brackets on it, to reinforce it to enable us to move it!”

“The courier didn't deliver on the correct date. It was delivered the following day. The gentleman at Eggshell was very helpful and chased it up for me. There was damage to the chicken coop which could have happened during transit. *piece of wood split on nest box *top bead on window broken *middle support to middle wall broken off *dent on roof The assembly instructions were easy to understand and all parts were there. It took about 30 minutes to put together. Apart from the minor damage (which my husband repaired) the chicken coop looks good and does the job.”
