“My item was quick and easy to order and pay for. The product arrived promptly however there are several items missing which has ordered on a Friday afternoon and I'm very upset that I will have to wait until monday before I will get a response to my email in order to solve the situation.”

“My order was dealt with efficiently and arrived on time. The instructions to put the coop together need to be better, it was unclear which run pieces were which. Fortunately, it was not a weekend (see a previous review) and Eggshell were more than happy to help when I rang. 3 ex bats have happily moved in and are laying well, so overall well happy with my coop purchase.”

“We got a phone call within minutes of placing the order and the delivery was next day - easy to put together too - unfortunately our hen house came without it's perches but after a quick email they said they'd despatch them to us.”

“Although there was a disignation label within each pack of screws, I still feel that more information could be given. There is little instruction text, and it would be very helpful if the panels were labelled A,B,C.. and also labelled with adjoining corners for example Z,Y,X.. I took me only an hour to do the assembly work, but several hours to figure what I was doing.”

“Ordered and paid for 1-2 working day delivery it was on my doorstep 25 hours after completing my order!!!! Great coop. Built very easily and the girls (4hens) absoutley love it!!!!”

“The product itself is very good and I am pleased with it. I'd give that 5 stars. However, it took 3 separate deliveries over about as many weeks to actually receive all of the parts of the order. The delays in delivery were down to the courier ( Eggshell- you should change your courier company!). I'm not sure whether the damage to some of the parts was due to the courier, or to poor quality control by Eggshell. That said, Eggshell did its best to sort out the issues and I would use them again.”

“1. Excellent value. I couldn't make it for the price and pay myself a decent wage! Well packed and delivered in 48 hours. 2, Went together without any great difficulty. You've just got to take your time. Use of dowels for locating parts is very good and predrilled screw holes help a lot. 3. I've made 2 modifications: a. Fixed (with staple gun) pieces (5"X 6") of roofing felt between bars on ramp to help bantams get a grip with their feet. b. Screwed 2"X 1" battens along both sides of the base to stiffen the pen, especially when moving to a clean site on grass. I will probably fit lifting handles too. 4. Will give 1 or 2 further coats of preservative before exposing to the weather. (We live in west Wales!)”

“Easy ordering and fast response by supplier. Unfortunately, delivery agent didn't meet expectations - expected Tuesday, failed to deliver, rescheduled Friday, only one parcel of two arrived. Now awaiting rest of order, 1 week later... Packaging permitted parts to bump into each other, meaning small damages occurred, easily fixed on site but remediable by better packing.”

“Very nicely made, surprisingly high quality at this price. Instructions pretty easy to follow and with one exception all parts fitted. I had a problem with one of the roof panels that came with its hinges in the wrong place. I had to move the hinges and cut the little pad which the lid opening restraint attaches to. No great problem for me but took a while of trying to figure what I was doing wrong when actually the kit was wrong! Nevertheless, on balance we are VERY pleased we chose to buy this product. On the couple of occasions I phoned the firm they were very helpful on the phone. I think you can buy with confidence and I would definitely buy again.”
