“The coop I ordered was out of stock but I was contacted straight away and provided and alternative that would still be shipped and delivered by the same time which was great. Coop is fab - very sturdy and easy to put together.”

“Our hen house arrived very quickly, we found it quite easy to construct and the hens settled in very happily with no interruption in laying. We only look after hens when my daughter is on holiday so it was dismantled and stored for a while but the back up from Eggshell when we lost the construction instructions was excellent.”

“Our order of a 5ft Rabbit Hutch Cover arrived quickly. Unfortunately, the cover was too small. We contacted Eggshell re returns, no problem, so far, too soon to receive a refund. We have now received our 6ft cover and it fits perfectly.”

“The order arrived quickly. But on opening the package there was a problem with a roof panel which was not the sellers fault. I contacted Egg Shell and they replied very quickly, telling me a replacement part would be sent the next day. This also arrived quickly. So problem solved. I will definitely be using Egg Shell again. Thank you for your help.”

“Arrived in a couple of days Pretty simple to assemble although I am a kitchen fitter so that probably helped I did however make a composite frame to sit it on to help preserve the bottom wood section and give a bit more height to the area under the coop house But overall very happy”

“No issues with the order. It arrived on time, and it was easy to put together ready to accept our adopted chickens. However - please consider that this coop is too small for 3 chickens. We have been told that hens need 2m(sq) per bird to be comfortable. As such we are now having to order the extra pieces. The coop advertised does look a lot bigger in the photo. Saying this - it is a really nice product but really too small for 3 birds. 2 maybe - but not 3.”

“I’ve just put it together as I had to wait for chicks to get old enough to go outside, I have to say I was dreading it as I hate putting things together, absolutely amazing how everything is pre drilled and detailed instructions and dowels already in, it was like putting a jigsaw together took 20 mins and all done and it’s fantastic, great job”

“Ordered a rabbit hutch on line where it said all items in stock. Payment went through successfully. Got a call a couple of days later to say it was out of stock and there would be no more available for a couple of months. I now have no hutch and no money. Very disappointed and won't order from here again.”

“Bought Half moon chicken coop, arrived very promptly, there was one part damaged think due to shipping but this was replaced very quickly with few emails and photos. Put together fine and chickens are loving it .It been out it the really horrendous weather and has stayed completely dry.”

“The house looks lovely. I have not built it yet as I have been painting wood preserve on to it but the entrances and roof system seem to meet all needs and the floor will be easy to clean.”

“Rubbish- poorly made cheap wood that has not even lasted a year- so disappointed with this flimsy hen hut that cost a lot of money - my family bought it for me for my 60th and I am embarrassed to admit to them I had to go back to old coop as hinges broke- floor does not stay on runners when moved because the hut cannot hold its shape Very disappointed - do not waste your money”

“Not bad if you are keeping small hens / bantams. We can only fit 2 buff Orpington’s. Although it came with wheels it is not easily moveable unless you have a perfectly flat surface. Perhaps bigger tyres or a different tyre position would sort this issue.We had to reinforce the sides to move the coop and even so the coop still flexes when you move it. We have built a separate hen tractor as we had to fix something every time we moved it. If you plan to keep the hens in one position this would be great but I would not suggest trying to move as the wood is a bit soft. in addition, you may want to consider galvanised latches of your own as we live near the coast and the latches are already rusting. We have only had this 2 months :(”

“Although I ordered a brown rabbit hutch, we received a white/grey one. This doesn't matter to me much, but might be important to others. It's also described as 'large' but it really isn't: we have one netherland dwarf rabbit using it so it's enough for her, and she has an additional run beyond the hutch anyway. Check the dimensions carefully before buying, because it is smaller than it appears on the photos. The quality isn't great, and there's a gap of about 4 mm between the sleeping compartment door and the 'wall' of it, that lets cold air in and allows the bunny to get her teeth into the wood of the door frame far too easily. The wood is flimsy and has several small cracks in it already. I think it's better for guinea pigs or chickens than rabbits. The small green bits on the roof came off in the box and were scattered all over the place! On the plus side, delivery was prompt and easy to rearrange when we were out on the original day. Customer service is good.”
