“Care if booking RCI from Ravenna with Royal. Just back from a lovely cruise on RCI Explorer which was spoilt at the end by the Captain diverting to Trieste falsely blaming the weather, saying no ships could dock at Ravenna. Cruisemapper.com clearly showed Marella Explorer 2 in Ravenna and the BBC app weather showed it to be fine. This then meant getting up at 3AM for a 4.5hr coach trip at 4AM to Bologna for a 12.50PM flight. No drinks or comfort breaks were offered and nor are Cruise118 or Royal that bothered! Also, Cruise118 did not apply onboard credit so I had to waste time out of the holiday sorting that out. We shall not be booking with Cruise118 or Royal again sadly.”

It is unfortunate that your cruise line had to change the port for disembarkation, we fully sympathise that you were impacted by a longer transfer than expected, these types of changes are made with passenger safety being a priority. I note that we have reimbursed you the expenses incurred for refreshments and cost of phone calls as a gesture of goodwill. “Having contacted 118 to pay balance on a booked cruise,I was helped by Sam who spent quite a lot of time correcting MY errors with reference number and payments. All the time he was helpful, cheerful with nothing was too much trouble. A big thank you well deservedSam. Yvonne”

“I enquired about a cruise and spoke to a lovely lady called Robyn. Robyn was very helpfull and managed to get us the right cabins for our family. She even checked to see if we would be disturbed by other passengers as we have 2 small children in our party. So I would say that Robyn went above and beyond her duty and I am very grateful for all her help and advice.”

“I was booking for a cruise for the first time. Robyn was very helpful at explaining all the details about how cruises operate and made sure that one of our stops would include Jamaica as that's one of the carribean islands we wanted to stop at. Robyn was very friendly, patient and wasn't bothered by my many questions, she answered every one, her customer service was brilliant! If booking again I would definitely ask for her.”

“Robyn had booked a cruise for a group of 17 persons in July she was fantastic then. So I thought I would phone Robyn rather going directly with the cruise line (which I usually do). Robyn was very pleasant, helpful and knowledgable in getting another cruise booked for us it saved me lots of time wasting trying to get the right one we wanted. Robyn did this with extremely fast and courteous service. I will definitely be in contact with Robyn again for our next cruise … Thank you Robyn great service,”

“Having had a fraught experience last year, not with Cruise118, it was so good to have this year's cruise booking dealt with by Jessica Adams. She was so helpful and friendly. She also helped chase up the compensatory onboard spend I was promised re last year's cruise, even though it had been booked directly through the cruise line.”
