“The system is simple to use, but be careful to check ALL the details of the cheapest offers. Fortunately, Confused.com gives a list of companies with ticks and crosses related to what is (and is not) included. When I got to the very bottom of the details of the cheapest, I discovered that the excess on any claim was £4,000. I had to scroll down about 20 offers to find a row of five ticks, and I paid £90 more than the cheapest in order to have only a £100 excess on any claim. However, I was pleased with my choice as I felt secure that I had the full cover that I wanted.”
