I like the convenience of Confused.com with all the details recorded to allow the comparison to be made. Like all good insurance the proof of the pie is when you have to make a claim and the consequences of the following year's. Fortunately Confused help navigate this process.

One of your emails to me was incorrect suggesting my renewal with Hastings Direct was due for renewal. I have never been insured with Hastings direct. I did not want to proceed with Safeguard Gold. I tried to see who the actual nsurer was but could not find details

You send an email every time I log in and you email a few times a day to say this is your lowest price but when you go to the provider it’s wayyyyy more . Compare the market is better

As usual with these things, it is hard to make comparisons as there are so many small differences in what you want and what the different companies offer. Also, although I was very clear in my initial search parameters, not all the companies that came up offered what I needed. For example, it was hard to tell whether insurance for bicycles outside the home was included or extra and some companies didnt mention it at all even though I had said this was important.

very good and easy web pages however most of the results are from semi unknown or completely unknown insurance co some of which have very poor reviews or did not quote on what I requested in the original questionare tim you add on what was required the price is completely different

I filled in forms several times as it kept going back to beginning.in the end I rang Tesco and completed payment on phone. I did rewards for my car insurance choose Halfords that has disappeared as well .

Had trouble getting my document. No phone number. Answer . Will not use them next year. Poor customer service. Hope I don't have to claim.

It was easier to use this year because the standard questions had already been input. However all it was unclear about cover on building costs should the house burn down and need rebuilding. For example would the claim be reduced if the building costs exceeded what you thought was the cost but turned out to be more because of age and style of house. All the companies I found limited building costs.

The cheapest quote was from a company called Policy Expert, but that company failed to deliver any emails relating to my resetting of an account password even after a phone call detailing the problem. So they could not be used. Your initial quotes did not include Hastings Direct, had to ask for a requote to get that. So it was not trouble free. You are still the cheapest with the reward scheme however.

After a little bother in which after answering all questions, the website stated that there was a problem with their site and couldn't process my application. I then phoned your telephone number, sent this info and asked them if they could process my payment. They refused after saying that it is an online only process. I then went on online chat who told me to telephone again and tell them that web chat wanted them to take payment. I eventually ended the transaction but had I not have been persistent, I would have gone on to another company
